Delilah looked at the Demon king, unsure if she should continue her questions before him.
"I know everything," Cimerius said, recognizing the emotions behind her gaze all too well, thanks to his stalking.
Delilah nodded before looking at Dorothea.
"My mother was a fallen angel, and I am a Nephilim. You used the past tense with my mother, which means she is not alive anymore," Delilah whispered.
Dorothea hummed, bobbing her head gently.
"But you never said anything about my father. What about him? If you know something so confidential about my mother that even my uncle and aunt don't, you must know about my father. He left me when I was a Kid… Is he… Is he…" Delilah gulped.
It was hard for her even to finish her question, her hope dying inside her slowly and filling her with unspoken sadness.
