Suan Yehua and Kuang Xiaocui

"Wait, don't run so fast." Said one of his desk mates, Suan Yehua and Kuang Xiaocui. Jianwei stopped and looked back at the two of them.

Suan Yehua had long flowing green hair and hazel eyes. A small flower was in her hair that was brown and orange. Her cerulean uniform was neat, unlike others who had wrinkles in their clothing.

Kuang Xiaocui had silky black hair that had a single white strand, violet eyes, and a petite figure for a boy. He had a calm expression, not showing any emotion and had a sword hang to his side.

"What's wrong?" Liang Jainwei asked them, tilting his head to the side. Kuang Xiaocui dusted off his cerulean outfit, the emblem glistening in the sunlight. Suan Yehua took a breath and spoke.

"Don't you remember Senior Yang's advice? He said to make friends with your desk mates so that's exactly what I'm doing." She said, sticking out her hand. Liang Jainwei stared at her hand for a moment before shaking it.

"My name is Suan Yehua, rank 6. My soul essence is Acid Vines." Suan Yehua said.

Liang Jainwei returned her gesture and spoke.

"Liang Jainwei, rank 13. My soul essence is mist." Liang Jainwei said, putting away his hand. Suan Yehua giggled and spoke.

"Wow, rank thirteen and mist? I wonder how you did it. Well, it doesn't matter. Nice to meet you, Jianwei." Suan Yehua said. Liang Jainwei nodded his head and looked towards Kuang Xiaocui, expecting him to introduce himself as well.

"Name's Kuang Xiaocui rank 7. My soul essence is White Light, part of the healing soul masters." Kuang Xiaocui said, sticking out his hand. Liang Jainwei was surprised by that information and shook his hand.

"We should start running now. Teacher Lieu Xia doesn't look like she'll take no for an answer." Liang Jainwei said, starting to jog. Suan Yehua rolled her eyes and caught up to him.

"That's obvious. She was once known for her righteousness. It was because of that she killed a high ranking noble, which made the empire very mad so she had no choice but to return to the HQ and become a teacher." Suan Yehua explained. Liang Jainwei's eyes widened.

"She killed a high ranking noble?" Liang Jianwei muttered. Kuang Xiaocui nodded his head and spoke.

"Apparently he was smuggling girls to the black market."

Jianwei sneered when he heard that.

"He shouldn't have been killed, but slowly beaten to death." Liang Jainwei muttered. Suan Yehua agreed, nodding her head.

"Though this world does have us cerulean, but we can only have so much influence on the empires." Kuang Xiaocui spoke, shaking his head. Jianwei clenched his teeth at that statement and spoke.

"We Ceruleans exist to uphold justice. Even if I go against the empire's in the future, I won't regret it." Liang Jainwei spoke. Kuang Xiaocui looked over at him, his face still showing little to no emotion, but a little admiration appeared in his eyes.

Suan Yehua giggled and spoke. "You'll definitely piss a lot of people off."

Liang Jainwei rolled his eyes at her, and turned his head and found a couple of familiar figures.

They were the ceruleans that entered the private room yesterday, but now they're currently surrounding a girl.

Her skin has a faint, iridescent quality, mimicking the colours and patterns of a stormy cloud. Electric-blue markings appear across her skin, from the tips of her toes, up along the backs of her legs and hips, and around her biceps.

Liang Jianwei had to admit that the girl was beautiful, but the ceruleans that surrounded her ruined that feeling. The ceruleans looked like they wanted to have their way with her, lustful and greedy expressions written on their faces. Liang Jainwei gritted his teeth and dashed towards them, Kuang Xiaocui and Suan Yehua followed closely behind him.

Once he arrived, he spoke, interrupting the ceruleans.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?" Liang Jainwei shouted, Kuang Xiaocui and Suan Yehua catching up next to him.

One of the cerulean turned around and looked at him with a displeased expression.

"Hey, weren't you that brat from yesterday? The one that helped that bitch out?" The cerulean asked. Liang Jainwei sneered at him and spoke.

"What were you trying to do to this girl?" Liang Jainwei repeated himself. Another cerulean laughed, turned around, and looked at Liang Jianwei.

"Why does that matter? We came here because we were told to, and their happens to be a cute junior that needs some help." The cerulean spoke, licking his lips. Liang Jainwei clenched his fist, anger surging within him.

This shows that even in the cerulean, there were some disgusting guys lurking within.

Kuang Xiaocui and Suan Yehua stood next to Jainwei, crossing their arms and sneering at the ceruleans.

The girl who was being teased raised a brow at Jianwei, and turned to look at the cerulean.

She raised her hand, and her soul essence was summoned. A huge serpent with blue scales crackling with thunder appeared, while half of its body was submerged into a cloud.

The girl's hand roared with thunder, and slapped the nearest person. Once she slapped him, an arc of electricity blasted him 10 metres away and hit a tree.

The two other ceruleans saw their friend get hit, their expression turning ugly. They pulled out their soul essence. A Cerulean wielded a mace with thorns and a blue crystal embedded in the tip, and his partner wielded a blue-coated battleaxe. The cerulean wielding the mace charged towards the girl.

He swung his mace, aiming for her head, but Jianwei ran towards the girl and pushed her out of the way. Jianwei felt a ting of thunder encase him when he touched her, and summoned his soul essence to get rid of this feeling. But little to his knowledge, lightning and water don't go well together.

Once he transformed into mist, he felt his body being ripped to shreds, and the lightning crackled throughout his body. The man who ran towards Jianwei entered this mist full of lightning, causing his body to go numb and collapse onto the ground, unable to move.

The cerulean wielding the battle axe scoffed and ran towards Jianwei, and swung his blue coated axe. Mist scattered when he slashed at it, but the lightning went through the man's axe, shattering it. The man coughed up blood and became unconscious because of the pain.

Suan Yehua and Kuang Xiaocui were stunned, and the girl who was pushed away by Jianwei looked at this all stupidly.

Liang Jianwei reformed and stumbled back. His whole body was numb in pain. Suan Yehua's eyes widened as Jainwei fell onto the floor. She ran towards him and spoke.

"Are you ok?!" Suan Yehua asked worriedly. Jianwei nodded his head and spoke through his pain.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just got shocked pretty bad." Liang Jainwei grunted. Suan Yehua nodded her head and looked back at Kuang Xiaocui, who looked like he had an epiphany.

Kuang Xiaocui knelt near Jainwei and placed his right hand on his chest. His soul essence appeared, and the white light that came out began to glow on Jianwei, soothing him of the pain.

Kuang Xiaocui's face became paler over time, and Liang Jianwei removed his hand.

"Don't worry about me. Keep some strength for the jog." Liang Jainwei said.
