Chapter 92: Lucinda Takes Action
Steven took Raylene by the hand and pulled her back.
“Is he afraid that she’ll also be held at gun point if she goes further into the room?” Lucinda wondered to herself.
“If only I knew that this would happen tonight I would have told my friend Tyler the wrestler to help us out. I’m sure he can overpower everyone here tonight,” Lucinda continued in thought. But maybe I can step back slowly and go back to the kitchen and phone him from there,” she told herself as she looked around at the people in the lounge.
They were all focused on Steven, Gwyneth and Raven. Nobody was even looking at her, not even the palace guard.
So, she took a few steps backwards slowly until her back was against a wall.
Lucinda stood there quietly before stepping to the side and back into the hallway. She then turned around and walked back to the kitchen with brisk steps.
She took a deep breath before taking her cell phone out of her jacket pocket and sending Tyler a text message.
