Chapter 9: Sharing the Truth
“What do you mean? Did other relatives rock up out of nowhere?” Raylene asked with her eyes big from shock. She had not known about any other relatives who could be close enough to be heirs to the kingdom.
“No one ‘rocked up’ as such. He was always there in the background. Lost but not forgotten,” Richard declared standing opposite Raylene with his hands in his pockets.
Raylene stared at him in disbelief. Was Richard losing his mind after all those hours of robot making? Maybe it was time to tell Uncle George about his hobby?
“Are you now saying that we’re involved in some kind of mystery? Do we have family secrets which we don't even know about as family?” she asked, looking at Richard with an earnest look in her eyes.
“It's just a fact which was apparently well-known years ago but it became a part of history because the mystery was never solved,” Richard explained with a serious and painful expression on his face.
