Chapter 80: Dinner Excitement
“So, people still wanna kidnap him after they did it to him as a baby?” Jules asked, his eyes big in surprise.
“But, who can those people be?” Raylene asked in shock.
“Maybe they know how important he is to the royal family already and so they decided to get ransom money from the palace,” Jules suggested as he looked at Richard.
“So, they’re asking for protection from the royal family as our guests for tomorrow night,” Richard read further.
“Only for the sake of tomorrow night?” Raylene asked. “Do they mean that they will look out for their own safety afterwards?” she asked with a puzzled look on her face.
“It can be that they know or assume that something significant is going to happen at the dinner,” Jules remarked with a pensive frown between his brows.
“Like what?” Richard asked with an anxious look in his eyes.
“Like becoming a member of the royal family? What if he confesses that his hair is not naturally that color?” Jules asked.
