Chapter 59: Raven Gets Stronger
Raven stood inside his bedroom in front of the window. He could see his reflection there.
“There must be something about me that’s different from him, I swear it!” he remarked at his image in the window. The light in his bedroom was shining against it brightly and behind it was the darkness of the night outside.
Raven liked to keep one bedroom curtain undrawn so that the window could serve as a mirror. From what he has learned, vampires could not use ordinary mirrors because the silver backing could cause the vampire to shrivel up and perish. He wasn’t taking any chances by waiting until he found out for himself.
The longer that he looked at himself, the more he looked like Steven. After a few more minutes, he raised his hand and ruffled it through his hair.
This looks a little different. It seems as if I will have to change my look just so I don’t resemble him,” he murmured to himself.
