Chapter 50: The Pre-party Dance
“Otherwise they know everyone’s birthdays and anniversaries. So, they know exactly when to start watching the palace like hawks and to ask around about activities inside of the palace,” Sir George added.
“Oh, well they’ve been doing it for years so we can’t sit around anticipating their movements. We should just carry on with our lives. So, if the party becomes bigger than planned we will be ready for that as well,” Steven responded.
“Just remember that you have to see the governor to discuss your future responsibilities as state leader,” Sir George remarked.
“Yep, if I happen to become the only ruler of this kingdom. Won’t my brother be late when they finally find him? Who’s gonna brief him about his responsibilities and his role in leadership?” Raven asked himself inwardly. He couldn’t believe that his uncle was really not going to tell him that they were searching for his twin.
“Could that be because they’re not so confident about finding him?” he asked himself.
