Chapter 43: Raven's Biting Habits
There were no other sounds when Raven removed the keys from the hook. But before he tried to unlock the door he had heard someone approach so he jumped behind a couch.
The lady who unlocked the door from the outside did not notice that the other keys were not hanging in their usual place.
Raven knew it was a woman because of the sound of her heels as she walked away, leaving the door standing open.
He walked out of the house looking all around him as he made his way to the small gate.
“Raylene! What a relief!” he exclaimed inwardly as he opened the gate slowly and peeped around it to see a familiar vehicle parked a short distance down the street.
Since escaping from that guesthouse, Raven had experienced a strong instinct to bite into someone’s neck, especially if the were standing next to him.
