Chapter 25: Tyler the Strongman
“I’m sure he does still get sick?” Lucinda replied.
“Well, it seems he has a true friend in you at least,” Raven has teased, even though Lucinda knew that he understood what she was trying to say to him.
“Well, we are friends who somehow come from the same background. He’s a sort of older brother to me, you know? So I know how much Crescia means to him and how she’s like a mentor to him,” Lucinda had explained.
“I only wish you could have gone through another source,” Lucinda had said as she sipped on her milkshake through a straw. She took in the surroundings of the cozy coffee shop around her. The artwork on the walls in the shower were really engaging. Indeed a welcome relief from the strain of the past afternoon involving the snake and Raven’s intense questioning at the moment.
It had been such a relief to Lucinda when she saw Tyler coming up the street towards her after her experiences with Raven and their lunch in the coffee shop.
