Chapter 20: Crescia the Heroine
Raylene recorded the scene while moving farther from the doorway for safety’s sake.
She was still catching some interesting video material on camera, when out came Salicia’s Aunt Crescia holding a yellow snake which looked like a cobra, to Raylene.
“Oh my goodness! Really?” Raylene exclaimed while she recorded footage of everything.
“She’s really not afraid of holding a snake. And a snake of that size, really?” Richard remarked. “Oh my goodness! This is something for the news even,” he added with his eyes stretched wide in amazement.
“Get a shoe box from inside the shop!” Crescia shouted. “Hurry, hurry! Goodness! People are so slow when it’s time to act,” she said with her jaw set tightly in irritation.
“How arrogant really,” Raylene mumbled to herself. “Anyway, Richard has evidence of who and what she really is. She has the power to handle a snake and not be afraid. She’s not even blinking,” Raylene continued in amazement.
