"If she has found herself some play toys to full around with shouldn't you be happy that she won't be glueing to you like she always did a year ago...,"
"And those playtoys of hers will be residing in our homes, haven't you thought about that...,"
"How does that make a difference Xand? Aren't I also living under the same roof with both of you so what is the big deal about the men she brought home with her?" Eve retorted.
To her, the issue was a simple one and that was why she saw no reason why Xander acted the way he did.
If only she knew that Xander's intuition was right she wouldn't have been so relaxed about the topic.
"Xand, no matter how different you think Giavanna is, she is nothing more than a sick lady whom we can easily get rid of with a snap of the finger...," Eve started in a calmer tone.
While she caressed his face with her right hand, she teased his chest with the other.
"She can do all she wants but never forget that the final winners are us... if ever you get fed up with her, remember that we can always dispose of her anytime. She is so dumb and can never be a threat to us or your aspirations hmm," Eve whispered.
She bent and rendered soft kisses on the face of the guy whose frown hadn't eased up.
"According to her mother's will, she is nothing without the title of your wife. Even though she has returned she is no threat to you and that is why you don't have to walk on eggshells around her like you often did in the past. Relax, ok," Eve licked his earlobe as she whispered seductively into his ears.
She grinned when he said nothing to rebuke her. She pulled closer so that her boobs pressed hard against his chest.
Eve slowly unbuttoned her green shirt so that her glowing boobs were in front of his eyes.
Normally he would have turned and pressed her hard against the seat after she made this move but he didn't.
She tried harder by sliding her right hand into his pants. She teased his cock hoping he would return the teases and made her feel his warmth even for a little while since Giavanna ruined their plans last night.
But to her dismay he didn't respond... in fact, he acted as if her mere existence in the car was nothing more than that of a passing breeze.
And this was her first time.
"That is enough. We are close to the office already," He ordered and grabbed her hand which was still teasing his chest.
Reluctantly, Eve pulled away and rearranged her clothes.
Meanwhile, as Eve and Xander got ready to step out of the car, at the porch on the second floor of a magnificent white building, a guy sat on a hanging wooden chair that was made in the form of a swing.
His body moved along as the wind swayed the chair to and fro. He lazily raised his hand and patted the strands of brown hair the breeze had brushed onto his face.
"The darn breeze won't stop annoying me!" He hissed with his husky voice. He resorted to tying his hair since this was the fifth time in less than twenty minutes that he had arranged his hair.
"When Axel told me you were at home I didn't believe him. I had thought this was one of his many pranks. Seeing things for myself, I still find it hard to believe that you haven't left yet," A guy's cool voice made him tilt his head sideways so that he had a glimpse of what went on behind him.
He watched as the image of the intruder got closer but uttered no word in response to what the guy said.
The tall handsome guy in a white short sleeve shirt and black trousers walked forward and halted in front of him.
"Why didn't you leave for your trip when it has been scheduled long ago..."
"She is back. And you know very well that I can't just leave..."
"And what does her return have to do with your travelling.... she is not even your family member, Dominic," the white shirt guy argued, his gaze focused on Dominic's face.
"You are talking as if you don't know how crazy that silly little brother of mine is about her," Dominic grumbled and jerked to his feet. He strolled to the porch rails and stood with his hands resting on the white iron bar.
"He will do the unimaginable if he learns about her return so I need to be here to keep him in check...,"
"Tris listens to you better than any younger siblings out there. You just need to give him an instruction and he will not disobey," The white shirt guy retorted. He approached where Dominic stood gazing at the open field.
"Not when it has to do with her," He mumbled. He spun around so that his back rested against the iron bar.
"But...,"
"Tom, believe me, he will not hesitate to disobey me over and over again for her sake. I have seen him do that before and that is why I am afraid that he will do the unthinkable now that she has supposedly returned from the dead," He continued.
He guided his right hand to his forehead and massaged it gently.
