"Hmm…" Roman shook his head instead since there was still food in his mouth.
"Because you told us you were not gonna stay at the company for long, I believed you would reject my meal request and that way I would use that as an excuse to approach you the next time you visit the office. Too bad things didn't work out the way we planned," Roman said sounding a bit disappointed.
"Of course, that plan was bound to fail since I had no idea of it. Also, the person I was supposed to meet texted to inform me that he was in a meeting. He rescheduled our appointment to evening," Giavanna said.
"Though he stood you up I can't bring myself to get mad at him. I was able to see what your genuine smiles look like because you dropped by the company on your way to meet him," Roman said as he took a bit from the piece of chicken on his fork.
"What do you mean by MY GENUINE SMILE?" Giavanna quizzed, confused at Roman's statement.
