Chapter-02

Sophia rested her body on the swing at her flower shop. It turned out that her father had come, and some of the flowers ordered by customers had also been taken. Sophia thought her father wouldn't come to the shop anymore, but he still came while listing the flowers and fertilizers that had run out.

Catching her breath, Sophia gulped down her drink. After hearing Petra's words about the house gift, her father-in-law asked Shaka to help Sophia move into the new house. Although it wasn't very big, the house was quite beautiful with some empty land. Sophia could use the space as a small garden in her new home. It would look so beautiful, with lots of flowers and vegetables that they could eat every day.

"I think the newlyweds are tired." chuckled Sion, Sophia's father.

Sophia chuckled, "What Dad? Pia just moved into a new house, so I helped Shaka lift things to the new house."

Sion was surprised, "So you don't live with Shaka's parents anymore, Pia?"

Not. Petra had given Shaka and Sophia a house as a wedding gift. The house was bought a few months before they got married. It was also very beautiful, though not as big as Shaka's parents' house. Not to mention that the house was already fully furnished, so Shaka and Sophia only needed to bring their belongings to move into the new house. And from today on, Sophia would no longer be living in Shaka's family's luxurious mansion.

"My father-in-law said that there can't be two queens in one house," Sophia explained.

Sion was relieved to hear that, "That's true. Especially since your mother-in-law is against your marriage."

Sophia nodded, Sophia knew about that. She knew very well that her mother-in-law didn't like it. Especially with Sophia's handicapped condition, who would want to be her mother-in-law? Maybe because of the promise of Sion and also Petra, for what Shaka did, this will not happen either. She must already have a lover that she loves, it's just that no one wants to marry Sophia. Sophia became Shaka's wife just like her father wanted her to, so why would they argue about something that had already happened? After all, it wouldn't change anything. Sophia and Shaka can't go back in time. Maybe if Sophia had been careful with the flowers at the time, and not too happy, this wouldn't have happened. Shaka wouldn't have bumped into Sophia, and Sophia wouldn't have been disabled until she was an adult. She only regretted it, but never regretted her marriage to Shaka. Picking up a few roses, Sophia again arranged the flowers beautifully. Yes, after going to the new house and bringing a lot of things, Sophia got orders from her old customers. The man told her that his mother loved white roses the most, which is why every two weeks he would order a flower arrangement at Sophia's kiosk.

It only took five minutes, and Sophia was finally able to complete a beautiful arrangement. She smiled happily, occasionally taking pictures of the flowers she had made later in the day. To be promoted on her social accounts, who knows after this there will be a lot of people who buy her flowers or ornamental plants.

"Done." Sophia squealed happily.

Sion, who heard this, immediately asked Sophia to bring the fertilizer to the back of the kiosk. Some plants must be planted properly, and Song, Sion also told Sophia about the flowers affected by pests, if left unchecked the other flowers will be damaged and die.

Sophia wanted to approach the car and see who was coming, but what happened was that the few times Sophia tried to approach, the car immediately did quite fast. "Sophia, fertilizer!" shouted Sion, who felt that Sophia had taken the longest to get the fertilizer and also the place.

"Yes Dad, yes," Sophia replied while shouting.

"So that woman is your wife?" Alcand asked.

Shaka nodded, he had invited Alcand to see his disabled wife. Even though Shaka didn't want anyone to know that she was married. But with Alcand, it felt like Shaka couldn't lie. He always told him what happened to his cousin, and asked Alcand to keep his mouth shut about this. Only Alcand knew about Shaka and Sophia's marriage. Shaka also asked Alcand not to tell his parents about this. His marriage to Sophia was secret and not many people knew, at least with this Shaka could cover himself from the shame of having a disabled wife. He just didn't like that many people would make fun of or perhaps insult Shaka who couldn't find a normal and beautiful wife.

"Yes, she is my wife," Shaka replied quietly.

Alcand frowned, "She is beautiful. Why should it be covered up?"

"I don't want to marry a disabled woman. This is not my wish, but my father's."

"Does this include the ridiculous promise your father made?"

Shaka nodded, of course, it was, who else would it be if not for his father? But no matter, at first Shaka thought that he could not freely do anything in that house. But instead, Petra gave a house to Shaka and Sophia as their wedding gift. Of course, Shaka didn't miss it. He would invite his girlfriend to come to his house just to spend time together. Or maybe Shaka's girlfriend would stay overnight there too, Shaka thought Sophia wouldn't mind. Moreover, Sophia had also agreed to the agreement that Shaka made.

"What agreement?" said a curious Alcand.

"Our marriage agreement. This marriage was unwanted, so I asked Sophia not to manage my life, I also said that I have a lover that I love. And Sophia doesn't mind that, as long as it doesn't bother her, it's fine." explained Shaka.

Alcand didn't expect that it was done by Shaka. Alcand thought everything was just an act, the contract was also just a joke for Shaka who was dizzy over her marriage. Instead, Shaka made a marriage contract with Sophia. For God's sake, Alcand was just joking about this. He had no intention of ruining anyone else's life.

"I was just joking at the time," Alcand confessed.

"I don't care. Sophia has no problem with it either."

Alcand could only shake his head softly, Shaka was a stubborn man. He would do what he thought was right and best for him. Shaka was the same version of a madman according to Alcand.

"Whatever, I already said that this is a joke," Alcand said back.

Shaka just nodded, joking or not Alcand's idea at that time was indeed needed by Shaka. If there was no idea, until now Shaka did not know what to do.

Standing up from his seat, Alcand immediately pulled Shaka's hand who was about to leave, "Where are you going?"

"What's the matter, why?"

"No, I don't. I thought you were going back to see your wife."

Shaka snorted, "Why would I want to see her? It's boring enough at home!!!"

Alcand could only shake his head, "Watch out for falling in love."

"Cih!!! Fall in love with her? Even though she is the only woman in this world, I choose not to fall in love!!! If you want, just take it. I don't care and it will speed up my divorce from her."

After saying that, Shaka decided to leave. He wanted to meet his girlfriend and tell her this happy news. He no longer lived in the same house as his father, which meant that Shaka and his girlfriend could meet anytime they wanted. She could even stay overnight at their new home if she wanted to. After all, Sophia wouldn't have a problem with this, right? They love each other, how could Sophia separate Shaka and her girlfriend?
