Chapter 64 : Aslan Gardner

I rushed toward the man and caught his arm in time before he could do anything with it. "Can't you see you scared her to death? Put down your hand and let's talk about this peacefully."

"Huh? Who the hell are you?"

If looks can kill, then I must have been dead a hundred times over by now. His gaze was so fierce and full of murderous intent. His thick eyebrows frowned indignantly as he stared at me like he just found his lifelong enemy.

I could faintly see my surprise reflected in his dark brown eyes. His frown got deeper as he noticed me grabbing his arm. Then he forcefully shook off my arm. He used so much strength it got me stumbled to the side.

"Piss off," he hissed in a low voice.

But how could I back down that easily after I dug my own grave by offering my neck to a raging lion?

Using my momentary surge of courage, I stood up against him.
