Chapter 229

While Jason was busy searching for the lightning orb in the other hall, the other assassins in the other hall were having a hard time as the moment they went inside the room, they were suddenly attacked by an unknown object which they easily avoided but it didn't end there as more attacks continued to come at them.

"Where are all these attacks coming from?" asked the other assassin as he tried to stay focused.

"Who knows. But I would say it bad news to remain in here" replied the leader of the assassin as he turned around in hope of leaving this hall but to his surprise, the entrance was sealed and he had to forcefully try to open the door but to his surprise, the door just won't budge.

"Since you are already here, why don't you just stay for a while" said a voice as it echo in the hall.

"Who said that"? Asked the leader as he turned around quickly towards where the voice came from only for him to discover that there is no one there.
