A Date With Robbin: Are You A Vegetarian?

Her acting was convincing, that was why Olivia had to leave sooner than she thought without being worried.

While waiting inside to ensure that her mom has gone far enough for her to leave for her date.

She teasingly says, "Alex, who taught you how to act? I never knew you had a potential talent like this."

"You can say whatever you want but make sure not involve me in any of your deceitful plans. I don't want to get myself in trouble." She says completely ignoring her sarcasm.

"Why wouldn't I? especially now that I know your acting skills. I will ensure to involve you in every plan. Thanks anyway but I have to go right now, I am already running late." she says and picked up her purse from where she had kept it and left for the hotel.

On reaching there, she took out her mobile phone and called Robbin. She told him that she's waiting for him in the reception room.

Not quite long came Robbin, he stopped a few steps away from her to scrutinize the beauty in front of him.

He was captivated by her look.

She was truly enchanting. Of course, she was, she put in a lot of effort to birth that stunning look.

He slowly approached her and says, "Oh my world! You're beautiful Sophia."

"Thank you," she said shyly.

He planted a kiss on her cheek and says again, "You are always welcome my beauty."

He took her upstairs, to the room he booked. From the entrance of the room to the interior was decorated with candle lights and roses, it was a wonderful sight to behold.

Sophia was stunned, she didn't expect such a grand welcoming. a violin player was also present, the tone the violinist produces as soon as he saw them enhances the ambiance of the room.

Awe was written all over her face, she liked it. Smile seized to depart from her face. She looked at him and says,

"Robbin, did you do all this just for me?" She was still in shock and didn't know he would do something like this just for her, someone he barely knows.

She couldn't express how happy she was, afraid that Robbin might think she's crazy or even so, exceed her boundaries.

"Of course my beauty, this is our first date, so, I want to make it memorable. The time may be inappropriate but it still does the trick," he said.

They were still at their hotel room entrance. She jumps and hugs him affectionately and says, "Thank you. I love it."

Robbin was not prepared for the sudden hug, due to the pressure, he took a few steps backward before he could stabilize himself, and it took him time to reciprocate the hug.

Sophia was already shedding tears, she tried to control it but she couldn't fight it, so, she allowed the tears to flow.

When she was about to release him from the hug, she silently wiped her tears with her hands she wrapped around his neck. She made sure there were no more tears that won't implicate her before freeing him from the hug.

But Robbin felt something but doesn't know exactly what it was. He keenly looked at her and asks with a worried tone, "Is something wrong? Are you alright?"

"Not at all, I'm fine and nothing is wrong. I was just expressing my gratitude. I love the surprise." she answered with a smile.

"Alright then, let's go inside and not delay any more." He said and took her inside to espy the whole room and see the brilliant decorations.

They walked majestically to their table, and as a gentleman, on reaching the table he let go of her hands that was hung on his left hand and took extra steps to the table before she does.

He pulled out one of the table seats for her to sit on.

"Thank you." She says and sat on the seat.

It was a table for two. A white cloth was used to cover the table's hard surface.

In the middle of the table was a bouquet of red roses in a glass vessel, and a glass jug filled with water and two glasses. And of course, the hotel menu card.

He encircled the table to seat on the other seat opposite Sophia's.

He sat down and gave the violinist a sign to leave them for now, and the latter adhered.

Now his attention is on Sophia, he asks, "What would you want to have?" He picked up the hotel menu card on the table and hands it over to her to choose from the menu whatever it is she wants.

With a smiling face, she says, "I will have, fresh lime juice. I've had breakfast already. So, I don't want any heavy food and it's still morning."

She returned the menu card to him and asks, "And you. What would you want to have?"

"I have had breakfast too. But have been a fan of vegetables, I can still have vegetable fried Rice," he said.

"Are you a vegetarian?" She asked.

"Yes." he smilingly replied.

From how things went on last night, he can tell that her mother doesn't like him that much, and she confirmed it last night when he called her.

To make it possible for her to meet with him, he had to schedule their date to be in the morning hours and not at night in fear that she might not show up because her mother will suspect her and might follow her up.

He was right, Olivia can do that especially when it has to do with her daughter.

He must be smart to have known about it and asked her out during morning hours.

He called a waiter to take their orders. a few minutes later, the waiter arrived with their orders, placed them on the table, and left.

While eating, they kept asking each other questions to know each other more.

Not quite long, they were done. Sophia excused herself to go to the restroom.
