A Date With Robbin 2: Sophia's First Kiss
She came back some minutes later, Little did she know that she made a big mistake by leaving her purse behind. On her return, she saw he was done eating.
They sat with one another for a while before leaving. Robbin went to the counter, paid the bills, and left with her.
He offered to drop her off at her place but she refused and he persisted which made her give in to his request.
She spent more than an hour in the hotel with Robbin. It was almost noon when they left.
On their way home, she asked Robbin to drop her off at her friends' place. Since that's where her mother had left her, it would be right for her to return to her friend and pretend to have been busy all through the day while trying to complete the project with her.
It's good to ensure that nothing happens to the trust her mother has in her.
She wouldn't want to jeopardize it. That's why she trades with caution as a smart lady but not smart enough to see what she's getting herself into or the true intentions of the man she's giving her heart to.
Robbin obediently decides to drop her at her friend's apartment. When they reached their destination, he pushed open the door, encircled his car to open the passenger seat door for his beauty to come out.
Alex, who was at the window, took so many dekkos at the duo. They looked like a couple in love.
She now understands the reason why Sophia lied to her mother, she lied to meet this gentleman, any girl in her place would do the same.
She could testify that the man with her friend was young and dashing. His good looks can make any girl fall crazily in love with him including herself. But she wouldn't dare compete with her friend.
And from the expensive car he drives, one could tell that he's rich. It was a black Ferrari that brought Sophia to her destination.
There was no doubt he's rich and handsome.
Alex was very busy scrutinizing this young man from her window but her attention was caught by her friend's abrupt boldness.
Sophia tip-toed and brashly kissed him on the lips without warning. It was a quick kiss, more like a peck.
There was a shocked expression on Robbin's face, a matured mind could tell that the action was unbeknownst to him.
Alex couldn't believe that Sophia could be this carefree with a man. Out in the open, she shamelessly kissed a man without caring who's watching them. What if her mother decides to show up at this moment, what would she do or say she did?
Alex immediately speculates around the arena to see if someone else was watching them.
She was relieved when she saw that the coast was clear and no one was watching except her.
Robbin was surprised that she would be the one to take that step. He couldn't believe she would do that.
"Uhm, what was that?" he asked.
Sophia was stunned by his question. 'what did he think I just did? wasn't that a kiss?' she thought.
"Why would you ask that, of course, it was a kiss, or don't you like it?" she queried.
He chuckled and says, "come on, that's not what I meant, of course, I like the fact you took the initiative to kiss me. But that's not a kiss, would you want me to show you how to kiss?"
"Of course not, you can do that tomorrow not today." She said to him.
"Tomorrow? Have you forgotten that I would be leaving for a business trip tomorrow?" he asked.
"I still remember, but you can still do something. Must you leave tomorrow? You can leave a day after or next."
"I want to spend some time with you. Today is not enough, I need more days please." she pleaded.
Robbin was touched by her words, and he could see that she wants to be with him. In front of Sophia, he took out his smartphone from his pants pocket and dialed his secretary's phone number, as soon as the latter picked, he asked her to reschedule all the meetings he has this week to next week.
Sophia who was listening to their conversation was so pleased with his current decision. 'It means he will not be leaving tomorrow, I can spend more time with him.' she thought.
Words couldn't explain how happy she was to hear that.
Robbin hung up and asked her, "Now, I hope you're happy, I am all yours." he said with a smirk.
Sophia who couldn't see that nodded sheepishly.
"Now let me teach you how to kiss, see it as my reward," he said.
Sophia didn't know what to do, she could only say, "Okay." while looking downwards as if she's counting the leveled grass.
Robbin lifted her chin with his right hand and made her directly dekko at him. This action made him strengthen up, all these while he was leaning on his car and Sophia in front of him. Now, they are facing each other. He slowly closes the gap between them, lowered his head, and gently kissed her on the lips.
He savored her lips as if it's some kind of delicacy, he deepened the kiss when he couldn't seem to have enough.
Sophia unknowingly wrapped her arms around his neck and reciprocated his kiss.
Alex couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing, she was shocked and her mouth was slightly open. That explains how shocked she was.
'Are these people crazy? why would they be doing that in the neighborhood? Feeding people dog food.' she thought.
The kiss lasted for minutes, they decided to let go because they were out of breathing, and were panting heavily.
"That's what I call a kiss," Robbin said to her, still breathing heavily whilst trying to catch his breath.
"Now, I can see why you asked that question," she shyly said.
