Assasination

Talus POV

I rubbed a hand down my damp visage, clearing my vision. Burbling of the water as it hit the rocks gave me inner peace. The sun glistened the blue lake, the reflection of the trees around displaying in it.

Tamara was a few meters before me in the water. She was naked and bent her head backwards as she ran her hands through her drenched hair. Her light skin glowed up under sun. I swam closer and wrapped my arms around her from behind.

She chuckled. /"Lord./"

/"You don't have to be formal with me. I'm your husband./" I gently kissed her nape.

My heart skipped a beat. I didn't understand how I felt around her. She seemed to make me so vulnerable. I tried to lie to myself but I think I was in love with her. Bloody hell. I had Gabrielle waiting for me at home. And here I was in another dimension, with another woman.

/"Do you love me?/" She asked, raising my hands to her bosom.
