#Chapter53
The following night was unbearable as Shadow and Sephora drove back to his house in Mississippi. Shadow knew Donavan well enough to know he was hiding in plain sight. The house was destroyed which wouldn’t give David any indication he was there electronically. The cameras he had sat up were damaged nine times out of ten.
Donavan covered his tracks. He was a fucking mastermind, but Shadow still couldn’t figure out why. Why was he so eager to give info on the other Cloak members? Maybe the Cloak members weren’t getting along as he initially thought. He had to recall back in the Toronto facility an argument between any of the members while he was around.
As a kid he snuck around a lot. I guess the name Shadow was embedded inside of him.
/"In deep thought?/" He turned his head to Sephora sitting next to him coming from a nap.
/"Thinking about Donavan and his next move./" He replied, turning back to the road. /"We are almost there./"
