Before taking a bath, there was one thing that bothered Daphne Tjia. Ansel Balder's proposal went well, but Alec didn't seem happy with it. Didn't look angry either, but Alec was really good at hiding moods. So Daphne Tjia took her cell phone and typed something.
Daphne Tjia:
Forgive me.
Daphne Tjia typed the sentence, read it over and over and then deleted it. Too short. It seemed he needed to add something to make it appear that Alec knew this proposal was not what he wanted. Alec didn't seem sad or anything. Ansel Balder's loyal bodyguard returned to his unreadable face. Daphne Tjia's logic says Alec is acting.
Daphne Tjia:
Good night, Coach, did you sleep?
Daphne Tjia covered her face with a pillow after pressing the send button. Geez, why is he so nervous waiting for Alec's reply? Just typing Goodnight takes tremendous courage. Alec is serious and tends to be stiff. There's a good chance he'll be distracted by unimportant chatter.
