Chapter 3: Fighting Zombie Again

　Jason and Charlie returned to the bathroom in the library, Rachel still did not wake up. Charlie opened the soul bottle, took out the soul crystal from the bottle and handed them to Jason. Jason feed the two soul crystals to Rachel. Two soul crystals were quickly absorbed by her.

　　They waited for a while, Rachel slowly woke up, opened her eyes, and saw Jason standing next to her. Rachel immediately hugged Jason then cried.

"Wuuuuu, I thought I was going to die, wuuuuuuu."

　　"Ahem!" Charlie coughed twice on other side.

　　Rachel then realized that there was another person here. She blushed and let go of her hand on Jason.

　　"It's Charlie and we saved you together, how are you feeling Rachel? Is there anything uncomfortable?" Jason asked.

　　"Thank you Charlie, Thank you Jason." Rachel said, "I don't feel any discomfort, just a message in my head saying I'm level 2 and have 3 skill points, asking me what I need to add, I chose to add them later."

　　Hearing that Rachel had risen to level 2, Jason and Charlie both looked at each other for a moment, not expecting Rachel to be the first one to upgrade in the three of them. It seemed that if Jason and Charlie both wanted to upgrade to level 2, each of them would need to absorb two more soul crystals.

　　Jason quickly told Rachel what had happened earlier and told her

　　"You are the first one of the three of us to upgrade to level2. I do not know how to add points, but your strength, physique, agility, these 3 attributes are relatively weak. Intellect, mental, and perception is very strong. Especially intelligence has reached to 10."

　　"So, I should be a witch? Then what attributes of you two?"

　　"A witch?" Charlie was interested in Rachel's words.

　　"But this is not a game, this is the a world! People can die! Do you remember the old security guard worked at our school, he became a zombie and dead." Jason said to Rachel.

　　Jason told Rachel about his and Charlie's attributes, Rachel nodded and said

　　"Charlie ,because of playing basketball, strength and physique are high. So he is more suitable to be a warrior. I am suitable for a witch, and you Jason, your attributes are more average, I do not know which role you should choose!

　　Okay, I'm going to add all 3 skill points to intellect." After saying that, Rachel increased her intellect to 13.

　　"Do you feel any change?" Charlie asked.

　　"No. Everything is good." Rachel replied.

　　Jason shook his head and said to Rachel

"You're in too hurry to add skill points. I was trying to let you add skill points to physique. You've been unconscious for so long, it's likely that your physique is too low.

　　The three people came out of the library and the time is already night.

　　"It's too late, walking outside is not safe. My house is close to the school, how about you guys come to my house first, and wait until tomorrow morning. 　　Jason and Rachel followed Charlie, heading to Charlie's house. On the way to Charlie's house, various of cars parked on the street, the inside were empty, the street lights were all out. Rachel, Jason and Charlie opened the flashlight on the phone slowly moved.

　　"This does not work, the cell phone flashlight vision is too narrow, and my phone is almost out of battery, we need to find a larger flashlight." Jason said.

　　"My phone is also almost out of battery, I know not far ahead, there is a convenience store, which should have flashlights. We also need to find something to eat and drink, to replenish our body." Charlie pointed to a building not far ahead and said.

　　Three people carefully came to the door of the convenience store. The merchandises inside store were scattered all over the place, obviously searched by people or other creatures.

　　"Be careful, seems to be a sound inside." Rachel said quietly to Jason and Charlie.

　　Jason signaled for Rachel and Charlie to stay outside, and he was the first one to enter the convenience store, slowly moving his feet, trying not to make any noise.

　　By the light from his cell phone flashlight, Jason saw that there was indeed a creature inside, and Jason immediately used Primary Scouting on it.

　　Level 3 F - Inferior Zombie

　　Strength 8

　　Agility 6

　　Physique 10

　　Intellect 1

　　Mental 1

　　Perception 1

　　Seeing that it was a level 3 zombie, and now it was night time with poor vision, Jason did not want to attack it, but slowly backed up, decided to ask Rachel and Charlie to leave here.

　　As Jason slowly backwards, suddenly his did not pay attention to kicked a can.

　　The zombie heard the sound and looked in Jason's direction, just in time to see Jason. The zombie ran directly toward Jason.

　　"Charlie, come and help me!" Jason held a cell phone in one hand, took an axe in the other hand, and his mouth shouted for Charlie to come and help.

　　Charlie heard Jason's ask for help. He rushed in to convenience store fight the zombie with Jason.

　　The space inside the convenience store is too small, besides it is the night, vision is not good. Jason's action is limited, he waved his axe a few times, but he did not hurt the zombie.

　　Charlie also joined the fight at this time, two people together fight against the zombie. This zombie, obviously more powerful than the zombie they encountered in school before.

　　"Go outside, the space inside is too small, it's not easy for us to fight in here." Jason said while going to the outside with Charlie.

　　The zombie did not chase out, but moved back to the convenience store.

　　"That's weird, why didn't it chase out, it's not the same as the previous zombie!" Charlie asked, confused.

　　"I don't know, I just saw something on the ground. This zombie seems to guard that thing, as soon as we get close, it will attack us." Jason replied while watching the zombie.

　　"So should we get out of here first? Go somewhere else to find flashlights and food?" Rachel asked Jason and Charlie.

　　"Yes!"

　　"Wait a minute!"

　　Charlie had just agreed to Rachel's proposal while Jason interrupted.

　　"Since it is guarding something, that means that thing must be important. I want to try again. Charlie and I will go into the store and attract its attention. Rachel, you go to the back door while it's attacking us, you steal the item!"

　　"Will this plan really work? What if there are other monsters inside?" Charlie asked.

　　"Trust me, there should only one zombie inside."

　　"I believe you, Jason. You and Charlie must be safe, once I steal the stuff, you guys run away immediately!"

　　The three customized a plan, Rachel quietly to the back door of the convenience store, Jason and Charlie two people went into the convenience store again.

　　The zombie saw the two people came in again, waving its arms towards the two people attacked.

　　　Jason and Charlie one on the left, one on the right, barely supporting the zombie's attack. Rachel at this time quietly sneak into the convenience store from the back door, found that there is a thing on the floor. Rachel picked it up, which is a scroll.

　　Rachel took the scroll and left through the back door. The zombie has not discovered that what it was guarding has been stolen by Rachel yet. It continue to attack Jason and Charlie.
