25 Meeting

As soon as Hinata reached home, her mood instantly changed and became very serious. She walked toward her father's office and knocked on his door.

"Come in"

Hinata opened the door and walked in. She saw her father doing some paperwork random stuff that Hinata barely knew about.

Hiashi looked up and saw his cute daughter looking at him with a very serious expression. He couldn't help but chuckled seeing that kind of expression on her face. To him, she just looked adorable. "What's wrong, my cute daughter?", Hiashi chuckled.

"Uchiha. Coup d'état.", Hinata said simply but it was enough to make Hiashi drop his joking expression. He looked back at Hinata seriously the sighed helplessly.

"They've already gone too restless that even kids would notice.", he said while shaking his head. Hinata's eyebrows raised since that implied that they had already long known. This also confirmed her guess of them being moved to the outskirts due to their growing ambitions. "How did you find out?"

"Sasuke came to class today looking all emo. I asked and he started trash-talking his clan for wasting his brother's efforts by impulsively planning a coup d'état."

"Hmmm. Itachi and his brother eh... It was Itachi who had alarmed us of their plans. They had grown too ambitious that they basically don't have anything against dealing with civilians just to achieve their goal. If you have heard of the news of the Uchiha being forced to move to the outskirts, it is because we want to reduce the chaos that may ensue as much as possible when we decide to deal with them."

Hinata's eyes widen in surprise. "Deal with them? Assassination?"

Hiashi nodded proudly at his intelligent daughter and said, "Yup" casually as if they weren't talking about something that could decide life and death.

"Are you sure that it is fine to reveal such information to me, a barely 8-year-old girl?", Hinata asked in wonder.

Hiashi just laughed. He said, "Don't worry, even the Hokage had praised you before because of your intelligence and will be fine with me telling this to you. While you may outwardly show that you have Shikamaru's laziness sometimes and Choji's carefree personality, you are also your own person."

"Which is?"

"Naturally, you are my cute and awesome daughter who is very very smart for her age."

Hinata just chuckled at his daughter-con of a father. No wonder Choza and Shikaku didn't mind being friends with him to the point where he replaced Inoichi's position. It is because they are the same and that they don't need to adjust much because they had already been used to Inoichi.

The same night that Hinata told her father about the Uchiha...

Hiashi attended another meeting which was being conducted more often than usual. All of the clan heads were present except the clan head of the Uchiha. The Hokage and his advisors were also there. However, if Hinata was present, she would be surprised to find that Danzo was not there, and in his place was Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.

All of them talked about some minor issues in the village before the atmosphere turned serious as Hiashi reported what Hinata had told him before.

"Lord Hokage, it seems that the Uchiha are getting bolder by the day. They're not even making an effort in hiding their true intentions anymore considering that even my daughter who is still in the Academy had managed to get her hands on this news. She recently told me about Sasuke Uchiha who told her about the coup d'état."

Minato's expression was frosty while thinking of the Uchiha. However, at the mention of Hinata, he seems to brighten up. "Ah yes, your daughter. Quite an impressive girl I must say. You must have been blessed to give birth to her."

The atmosphere seems toll lighten up a little as Hiashi laughs proudly while the others could only look in envy. As clan heads, they naturally have information about Hinata and knew how impressive she was. She's barely 8 years old but she seems to be stronger than her teachers already. During the monthly assessment, she has also momentarily shown her wisdom. Although she usually looked quite boring on the outside, it was probably because not many could interest her.

"Today, I also witnessed her complete a very difficult task.", Minato says as the others got curious as to what more could Hinata be possibly hiding. "She calmed down an unstable Uchiha.", Minato continues as the others laugh at his little joke. Their laughs then slowly die down as the atmosphere reverts to its serious mood.

"We will have to deal with the Uchiha sooner or later. We just have to until they move away from the center of the village. We'll start our plan as soon as they do so. While I am confident in my own strength, I wouldn't want anything to happen to the village should anything go wrong.", Minato says coldly. This again goes to show that despite being a warm and gentle person, Minato can also show a bit of coldness and ruthlessness, something which Hiruzen lacked that made him commit many mistakes.

Speaking of Hiruzen, he had been quiet the whole time but it can be seen from his eyes how regretful he felt that they are currently planning on eliminating one of the village's founding clans.

Hiashi at this moment, spoke hesitantly, "Hokage-sama, Hinata had also requested me to tell you that it was only the clan leader and elders who are planning this. Most of the clan members are oblivious and are only mad at the village because they feel like they're being mistreated. Perhaps they are intentionally keeping it a secret so that the members develop hate for the village."

Minato instantly understood Hinata's intentions for saying this. He couldn't help but smile once again. "Don't worry, you can tell her that all innocents will be unharmed. We will only deal with their higher-ups and others who are involved."
