LAURENE'S POV
I had always known about Ross's feelings for Gregory. They were not exactly subtle, but I chose to ignore them. Gregory never gave me a reason to worry. He kept things professional, and Ross, despite his affections, seemed to respect that boundary. That is why, when my PA informed me that Ross was waiting in Gregory's office, I was taken aback.
What could he be doing here? The Will & Marks Foundation was not his domain. He was supposed to be in Utah, working on Gregory's plan to dig up information on Sean Edins. I had been wary from the beginning—sending Ross on that mission was risky. But Gregory had reassured me, telling me that Ross was just a spy he had planted in the Automobile Association of Utah. His job was to keep an eye on Sean Edins so we could use whatever dirt he uncovered to control Milan Edins.
