"Is the Simulation Universe test over?" Night asked.
"It can be considered over... and yet not," Black Tower replied patiently.
"You made a name for yourself in the Battle of Thebes, collaborating with Hector to defeat the demigod Achilles, and your fame spread throughout Greece.
Because of you, many people were saved, leading history to take a drastically different direction.
You can choose to save here.
The next Simulation Universe test can start from this point, following the conclusion of the previous simulation."
At this moment, Black Tower was explaining to Night with patience.
"Of course, in the previous test, your physical body in that conceptual universe was practically dead.
Although you did look pretty cool when you broke Achilles' invincible body with your last desperate move, the price was your life force, which was already like a candle in the wind, being completely burned out.
Even ashes have more substance than what was left of you."
Night sighed, "Save it. How will my identity be calculated in the next simulation?"
Black Tower responded, "It will assume a world line where you were successfully saved and continue from there."
I see—so in that universe,
Hector and the others would only think that he had recovered from severe injuries, without knowing that he had actually died once.
That was good; Night didn't want to suddenly create a scenario of resurrection in Greece, nor did he want to adopt another identity disguise.
'Troy, I will return.'
'But for now, let me address my current situation in reality.'
... Finally, as Night was settling the accounts in the consciousness space, he realized the extent of the wealth he had gained from this simulation.
First was the Achilles fate template.
This template, once inherited in reality, might not be as directly applicable as in the Simulation Universe but was still quite comparable.
The template applied conceptual enhancements, which meant increasing his upper limits.
And this upper limit wasn't just about talent.
It was like restarting with a max-level character, where leveling up to max would be as fast as a rocket, without any bottlenecks.
Integrating the fate template in reality gave his body a buffer and adaptation period, gradually absorbing external energy combined with internal training cycles, to restore the power that rightfully belonged to him, including the invincible body and the unbreakable steel body.
In addition to the fate template, Night realized he had also gained:
1. Combat Techniques: From Achilles and Hector, he now had a vast repository of combat skills and techniques, significantly enhancing his martial prowess.
2. Divine Blessings: Apollo's blessing remained with him, allowing him to draw on miraculous power when in dire need.
3. Weapon Mastery: The mastery over Hector's god-forged spear and the knowledge of wielding such legendary weapons were now his.
4. Resilience: The experience of fighting a demigod had significantly toughened his spirit and body, making him more resilient than ever before.
Since he had already anticipated some of these rewards, he was not surprised...however, what came next was an unexpected delight.
Divine Spear - Hector (Conceptual Form)
Due to the special bond formed with this spear in the Simulation Universe, and gaining the recognition of both its original owner and the spear itself, this weapon had voluntarily responded to Night, returning to reality with him from the Greek conceptual universe.
Although the conceptual spear lacked a physical form, it functioned like the soul of a spear.
Whenever Night wielded a weapon that his consciousness classified as a 'spear', he could invoke the power of the Divine Spear Hector.
This enabled any ordinary weapon to instantly attain the sharpness and hardness equivalent to divine armaments, and even channel some of their divine power.
...What a jackpot!
Having personally used this spear to pierce the invincible body of a demigod, Night was fully aware of its immense power.
Holding the Spear made an enormous difference in his combat capability.
Without it, he couldn't match himself with the spear even if he had a hundred versions of himself.
Once, he had felt somewhat guilty for having "borrowed" Hector's weapon without any intent to return it.
But now, he felt no such hesitation.
In fact, he regretted not realizing earlier that he could bring out conceptual forms of these weapons.
If he had known, he would have stripped Hector and Achilles of their entire arsenals, arming himself to the teeth.
As long as the world's mystical level wasn't too high, he could confidently carve a path anywhere.
Wait a minute, he actually did strip Achilles of everything valuable.
Night suddenly realized he had acquired some excellent items from Achilles' template.
Previously focused on battle, he hadn't had much time to inspect what Achilles' template had brought him.
But now, he saw that it included conceptual forms of his' spear, shield, and armor.
If these items had the same nature as the Divine Spear Hector...
When Night attempted to release these three conceptual forms from his consciousness, he found they were indeed similar to the Divine Spear.
So, now he had two divine spears at his disposal.
"Achilles' spear, the spear of Cheiron, is undoubtedly another divine armament," Night thought, sensing the spear's concept, which was similar to that of Hector's spear with its penetrating quality.
Achilles and Hector seemed almost like two sides of the same coin.
Except for the invincible body, their gear was remarkably similar.
Achilles was skilled in throwing weapons too, though not as famous for it as Hector, who had almost shattered the so-called strongest shield of Ajax with his divine spear, earning him legendary status for his throwing technique.
"Double spears..." Night muttered, imagining the prospect but realizing neither Achilles nor Hector had taught him techniques for dual spear combat.
For now, he set aside the alluring image of wielding two divine spears and just selected Hector's gift for its significance and the familiarity it offered.
Besides, this spear was the only one to acknowledge him personally, following him from the Simulation Universe.
Charmed by a weapon that chased after him, Night could only feel immensely gratified.
For this bond alone, he would never let it down.
Understanding his concerns and final decision, Black Tower commented, "It's okay..."
"If you feel that the conceptual forms of the divine armaments are redundant, I do have a suggestion.
By prioritizing one form and using the other as a supplement, you can merge the conceptual forms, enhancing their inherent characteristics.
Since they are conceptual forms without physical entities, their integration is feasible, especially if the concepts are closely aligned," Black Tower explained.
Night was tempted by the idea but decided against merging Achilles' spear.
After all, he had some other plans in mind.
