As if there is an electric current connected in the body. I don't know how to express it. Rain seemed to be channelling the energy from his heart to me. I can't refuse it. I let that energy continue to flow in my every bloodstream.
"Ara, you don't regret travelling with me, do you? he asked as he kept the horse's pace.
How could I regret it, Rain? I even feel happy right now.
"Ara? What are you thinking about?"
I was so lost in the mood that I ignored Rain's question.
"S-sorry. I'm trying to fit in, Rain," I replied.
"Adapt?" he asked in surprise.
"Hmm, yes. I'm dreaming of being able to walk alone with you," I said shyly.
"Hahaha."
Rain laughed. I saw his laugh was so crispy, softening the heart. At this close distance, I could hear his every breath, his heartbeat and even feel his mood. It felt like we were so close.
"One day, you'll always see me, Ara," he continued.
"Hmm? You mean?" I asked, confused.
"We will discuss it later. Now, I'm afraid I won't concentrate on controlling the horse's pace."
Rain closed the beginning of our conversation and left a question mark for me. Look at how strong he is. My mind starts to wander when I'm near him.
I wish I could have you, Rain. How happy am I?
Again I was lost in my thoughts. Enjoy this trip with him. I breathe fresh air around. Now and then, I glanced at him, concentrating on driving the horse. I got rid of bad thoughts about it. Now that comfort began to envelop my soul. Rain forced me to open the door of my own heart wide.

The weather today is not too bright. Small black clouds were passing in the sky as if giving a sign that it would rain today.
Now we've got off the horse. Rain led his horse to walk while I walked on his left side.
"This is my favourite place, Ara."
Not long ago, I saw a large tree with very thick leaves covering it—only a few meters from us.
This is the tree at that time.
Rain immediately rolled up his horse's rope and let his horse go.
"Rain, your horse?"
"It's okay, Ara. He's been trained. Don't you worry."
Rain let go of his horse. The big black horse. I didn't know where to go. A few moments later, the black horse was no longer seen.
"Looks like the black horse has been well trained, huh?" I asked as I walked towards the leafy tree.
"Hmm, yes. I've been playing with him since childhood," replied Rain.
"You mean the horse is your own?" I asked again, turning to look at him.
"Yes, mine. Grandpa gave it to me."
"Extraordinary. You've been with your horse since childhood. That means you have a very strong bond." I carry on.
"Of course. Sometimes animals can be more loyal than humans, Ara." Rain turned to me.
Uh? Rain's words seemed to pierce my heart. Is Rain making fun of me, or is he just telling his story?
"So you and Cloud have your horse?" I asked, diverting.
"Right. We were each given one horse," replied Rain.
Without realizing it, we have arrived under this lush tree. I then sat down, followed by Rain on my left.
"But yours is bigger, Rain."
"Of course. Mine is bigger, Ara. You want to see it?" he asked teasingly.
"Hah?! W-what?"
I immediately stood up as soon as I heard Rain's question. Is he fishing me?
"Rain, what did you say?"
I am now standing in front of him, asking for an explanation.
"I'm just offering. Do you want to see my big one?"
Rain lay down in front of me on the hill's grass while putting his hands behind his head.
"Rain, don't mess around!" I exclaimed.
He then got up and sat in front of me while I took my steps backwards.
"All sorts of how?" Rain was pretending to be confused. "Hey, where are you going? Why step back? Are you planning on running away?"
I fell silent.
"Where are you going to run to? Can you go home alone? It's just the two of us here," he continued.
I took a deep breath.
It's true what he said. There's no point in running away either. I don't know my way home. Maybe Rain had planned all of this, leaving us alone here. The proof just released the horse. I give up. There's nothing I can do.
I then walked over to him. Rain burst out laughing seeing my behaviour.
"You're so cute. Lost in your thoughts. Why don't you ever use your feelings?"
"You mean?" I asked, a little annoyed.
"I mean, you can relax a bit and entrust everything to me. I'm not a bad person, Ara. I act arrogant only when I'm in the palace environment. But in front of you, I'm different, right?"
Rain is right. Well, maybe it's time for me to open my heart. Closing your heart for too long can make it freeze.
"Calm down. Come sit next to me."
Rain offered. I sat next to him. Excitedly Rain embraced me. Now my head rests on his chest.
"You saw that! The sky is dark, but the sunlight makes it blue. Likewise with me, Ara. You are like a light to me."
Rain then poked my nose. He started to be brave while I didn't fight him. I just enjoyed the storyline.
"Since your arrival, there's one thing I've realized..." Rain was silent for a moment.
"What's that?" I turned to him.
"I need someone as a berth."
"Rain?" I was amazed.
"Since the age of twelve, I have entered the palace military academy. Can you imagine how I was then?"
I shook my head.
"Eight years, I finally can hold an important position in this palace."
Rain was seen clenching his left hand like the heart was sincere.
"Even though I am the son of a king and the grandson of a king, I still have to work hard on my own to achieve all of this. Father, mother, give way. When I was selected, I was treated like a normal soldier candidate."
"Rain"
I rubbed his chest. I put my ear to his chest again. He didn't seem to be lying. There was a steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
"I've only been in the palace for three months. I'm like a thirst for love. I looked for it, but I couldn't find it. I can't even indulge myself in my current position."
"I understand, Rain."
I smiled at him. I hugged him from the side. I gave my warmth to him, Rain smiled. He then threw himself into the grass of the hill. Now we look up at the sky while lying down.
"And that's when I found you, Ara. I feel that only you can understand me."
Rain rubbed my head. I didn't answer, just smiled. Enjoy this beautiful atmosphere with him. I try to open my heart.
"Fig?"
"Hmm?"
"Can I kiss your head?" he asked.
I nodded. I'm already comfortable, and I also don't want to fight. Whatever happens, let it happen. The energy that Rain gave off was so strong on me. I resigned myself to it.
Not long, I felt my head was kissed by Rain then he rubbed it. My hand was on his chest. He held it with his left hand, then kissed my hand.
"Hey! You said it was just a head?!" I said.
"Only? Not. I didn't say that." Rain defended himself.
Honestly, I'm just pretending to be annoyed. I want more than this, though. But I'm a girl, and I like being chased. Let him come after me first.
