Chapter 7: Lunch Date

“Should I not?” I told Tristan, thinking twice whether I should go out of the car or not.

“Do you want to get slapped as well?”

“What?!”

“Hurry up! Mom’s waiting!”

I guess I no longer have a choice but to get off the car and walk towards the resto with Tristan. But before we could totally go in, I stopped Tristan.

"What now?"

“But Tristan, do you think my clothes fits here?”

"Alyson, just be yourself. Your clothes don’t matter." He held my hand and smiled at me. We walked in as I held his hands tight as well, feeling so nervous in every step we take until we are finally inside the resto.

My heart beats more aster when we saw Tristan’s mom seated at the table she reserved. She stood up with a delighted face the moment she saw us and excitedly approached us. She is wearing another fabulous red sleeveless dress that showcases her perfect shoulder and slim waist. She doesn’t look like a mom at all, it’s intimidating!
