While waiting for his secretary, Atticus kept checking his wristwatch, wondering what was making him late.
"Sir, I am sorry. My car broke down, and I couldn't find a cab," his secretary's words made him snap out of his thoughts. He raised his gaze to look at him, a deep frown on his face.
"Instead of apologizing, start telling me everything you found out about Martins Ray," he instructed coldly, sounding unlike the person Francis used to know.
Francis sat down before he began, "Martins Ray used to work for Mr. George as his family doctor. He was known by everyone as George's friend as he wasn't treated as a worker. He disappeared after George and his wife died, his daughter said to be missing," he paused briefly.
He reached for the water on the table before gulping it down. "A few months after Mr. George's death, Martins built Kieran Holdings, which was known as an investing company fifteen years ago."
