Amarie heard someone entering her room and she sat straight on her bed, watching granny holding a tray of food in her hands as she switched on the light. She hadn't realized how long she was asleep but almost all day went by.
"You didn't eat ever since you got back home." Granny smiled and placed the tray in front of her. Amarie figured that Granny must have felt she was in pain.
"Yeah, I was just not hungry." she lied and looked away, mentally telling her stomach to not growl right now.
"Did something happen between you and Noam?" Granny swept her hair behind Amarie's ear and demanded to look into her eyes.
"There is nothing left to happen, he is so in love with Nate" Amarie croaked, feeling tuckered out inside.
"That's why I want you to change it." All of a sudden, granny's voice was filled with ebullience.
"What?" Amarie inquired, watching granny's face with her mouth hung open.
