Akane looked at his reflection in the mirror and caressed his chin "Can't believe I still can't get used to the anime look after all these years. Guess 30 years of memories and knowledge is enough to change your daily perception"

For some reason, when they were 7, Akane and his twin received the memory and knowledge of a middle-aged man from an alternate universe or planet earth. Both of them were still children at that point, but having experienced a man's 30 years made them both mature, allowing them to understand that what happened to them wasn't normal.

Nevertheless, they both decided against sharing it with their family as they were, ultimately still children and were afraid of getting taken and experienced upon as they had seen in so many anime and movies.

Another interesting thing that happened is that each of them was able to recall a certain "type" of knowledge/memories.

Akane, for example, can perfectly recall anything related to business, economy, finance, marketing, coding, and Taekwondo. The middle-aged man was a Taekwondo practitioner in his youth and worked in the IT industry while being quite knowledgeable in the business world.

Thanks to that, Akane was able to make important investments and he used his knowledge of coding to hone himself from a young age.

After 10 years and thanks to his young, adaptable mind, he became one of the top 10 best hackers in the world and one of the top 100 richest men in the world. Though only a few know about it.

Akane clapped his hand and closed his eyes "Thank you very much Tatsuya-san", he said before he entered the shower.

It was a morning ritual that he imposed upon himself. He didn't know the reason why he had received these memories nor did he care, but he knew that his life would be way harder today if he hadn't received them. That is why he had made it a rule to always thank the person whose memories he had inherited.

Who knows, maybe that person was looking after him and his brother as a source of entertainment like in those fanfictions that his twins talked about every day?

After showering, he dried himself, put on his uniform, and stretched, making his joints crack. Akane release a satisfied sigh and mumbled before he took his bag and left his room "Note to self: when you have a bed, sleep in it"

He walked into the living room and saw three identical high school boys and two identical girls chatting animatedly while eating breakfast.

'Are twins running in dad's family?' He unconsciously wondered like every morning as he looked at his twins and triplets cousins.

"Morning" Akane greeted in his monotone voice before he looked at the clock and cursed himself inwardly when he realized that he won't have time to have breakfast.

"Morning, Akane-nii!"⨉5

"Where's Yuki?" Akane asked while putting on his shoes

"Nee-chan went to school already" One of the boys replied and pointed to a tray full of food. "She left breakfast for you"

"Don't have the time. Put it back in the fridge for me please"

"Ne ne, onii-chan" One of the girls poked his shoulder making him look at her from the corner of his eyes.

"Can you buy us the new ps5?" She asked sweetly

"Pleaaaaase"

"Pretty pleaaaaase"

All of them looked at their older cousin with puppy eyes and Akane could practically see imaginary tails wagging behind them.

Akane looked at them in silence for a few seconds, making them sweat before he turned back to doing his laces.

'Fail...' The siblings sighed inwardly but Akane's next words made them jump in happiness

"I can"

"Yosha! Akane-nii you're the be-"

"As long as you ace your next tests"

"..."

All of them looked at each other and started to tear up. One of the girls looked at Akane in grievance and complained

"But onii-chan, your tests are too hard! Even our teacher said that it's not for our age"

"Then no ps5 I guess" Akane shrugged his shoulders and stood up. "I already sent you a pdf file yesterday. You'll find my personnel tips and resources where they explain things easily with good examples. The test will be in 1 week, you have until then to get ready"

"Fine" They all grumbled gloomily thinking about the week of studying ahead of them. The five of them knew the only reason they didn't have to study at school and were ahead of their peers is thanks to these personalized tests made by their cousin. At least, this time they will get a reward if they ace it.

"By the way, where's Sora?" Akane asked after realizing that his twin was missing.

Sora, Akane's younger twin, decided to live on his own because he wanted to attend a certain school. To this day, Akane still has the chills every time he remembers his twin's creepy smile when he had asked him why he wanted to attend that school in particular.

"He went back to his apartment"

"When is he coming back this time?" Akane asked as he opened the door.

"He didn't say"

"Oh right! Nii, he said to pass you a message"

Akane stopped and looked at his brother questionably.

"Ahem" The latter coughed and took a deep breath before covering one of his eyes and speaking in a somber voice "The day has finally come for you to go and mess with the plot. Now go forth my dear brother and accomplish what you were destined for!!"

"You say that every year, but nothing happened!" One of the sisters said in a deadpan voice

"Why are you telling me that? It's Sora-nii who's weird!"

"Oi don't yell at our sister!"

"The hell is wrong with you otaku neet"

"NANI?!"

*BAM*

"TEME"

*BOOM*

"SHINE KONYARO"

*CRASH*

"Don't forget to lock the door!" Akane said loudly before he closed the door and shook his head. No matter what day it was, the triplets always found a reason to fight in the morning and the twin sisters are always happy to add oil to the fire. He and Yuki often had trouble dealing with them until both of them decided to just leave them be.

"You're in your second year of high school for fuck's sake" He sighed and started walking down the stairs of their cheap apartment.

Despite having a lot of money, his aunt and uncle decided to stay in their old house because of their attachment to it, not that he had anything against that decision. As long as he had a room, a computer, and internet, Akane was perfectly content.

He looked at the clear sky and twirled the keys in his hand

"The plot started huh~ I wonder which one he's referring to this time?"
