Flashback

12:38, June 5th, Valle Muerte: The Death Valley Massacre.

*KABOOM!*

The ground shook as Titans and Sentinels slaughtered each other in the barren plain, forever scarred by the war's ceaseless violence.

"How far is the Khan?!" Ronan yelled.

"Based on what Kane and Farica dug up they estimate two and a half miles till the curtain and after that, it's only two hundred yards to the fortress!" Eiten responded. Eiten lunged forward at a crowd of titans, each an eldritch abomination. His fist turned a dark glowing blue as what appeared to be lightning shot from the aura surrounding his hand. He thrust his fist forward, smashing it into the face of one of the Titans. Now the true power of Eiten was on full display.

"Enuma Elis." He whispered.

It is said the first Enuma Elis was developed by an individual from an island nation off the eastern coast. There is an unknown number of them, and that number gets bigger every generation. However, what is known is that there are five categories of Enuma Elis. Those being: Developmental types, Domain types, Void types, Chaos types, and Almighty types.

Eiten's was a Chaos-Void Hybrid type. It shattered the fabric of reality like glass from the perspective of the user. Of course due to the laws of physics that space would reform at speeds faster than light. However, for a brief moment, a hole formed in reality to a place known as the Outer Void or:

"N̷̛̛͕̲̦̖̫͓̙̪̰̺͋̀͑́̈͑̾̈̅͒̈́̄͛̕͜͜O̸̧̠̳̖̬̫͕͇̣̪̎̅̓͂͐̇͒Ẅ̷͙͖̹́̒́̈́̏̓̈́Ǎ̸̡̛̲̹͕͉͙͈̖̫̮͔̈́͗͒͒̅̋̄͜͜͝͠Y̶̨̢͎̖̣͔̲̠̳̔Ŕ̷̢̘̱̯̘̭̠̞͆͜͝͠Ë̵̖͎̰́̋́".

Eiten's punch echoed through the battlefield as the titans were ripped apart. The strength of Enuma Elis were truly unmatched even by that of titans. Eiten turned and looked at Ronan.

"Piece of cake." He smirked "Now let's go kill that bastard in the fortress."

and as fast as he dozed off, Sheppard awoke to a call. It was the Headmaster.

Sheppard grabbed the phone and began to speak. "Why are you calling so-"

"You need to find Valentine and the others, our suspicions were right. It's why the titan attacks have become more frequent and dangerous." Faulknor cut in. "You don't have a lot of time, the kids from the central school will be joining to aid you. But she is far more powerful than the last time we had a run-in with her." He continued.

Months prior; after the entry exams:

"So that should be all, we just wanted to make sure you were all set up for success. You may go on your way." Faulknor told the three cheerfully. Caira, Wade, and Ubel walked out of the office leaving just Faulknor and Sheppard.

"I couldn't tell which it was. Nor is my future sight working on anyone in this class." Faulknor said broodingly.

"As long as I stay near them there's nothing that they can do. The sisters are strong but the only one that poses a threat to me is the eldest. I highly doubt she'd be here." Sheppard responded.

"I highly doubted the sisters would become an issue again but here we are." Faulknor gritted. "Do not say a word of this to anyone. If word gets out then Farica might hear. If that happens all hell will break loose." He continued.

"Are you sure there's even a mole?" Asked Sheppard.

"It would be too coincidental for there not to be. The minute we started getting ready for the year attacks became more frequent. I wasn't suspicious till all the murders began, and shortly after that titans began showing up with even higher rankings. It's no coincidence, there must be a mole." Answered Faulknor.

Present Day:

"You sure that we won't get in trouble? It's already incredibly late and we're leaving the Hotel." Ailani said nervously.

"Yeah it's fine, I asked Sheppard if we could go this far before you guys got down to the lobby and he said it was fine." Caira responded.

Valentine walked down the street in the direction Caira was headed, then something caught his eye. On the upper part of Ciara's tricep, was a mark. It almost looked like a Heart and triangle all in a knot. It was odd but he didn't think much of it. They continued walking until it seemed like they were going nowhere.

"So how close are we? It seems like it's too far for Sheppard to have allowed." Valentine Said hesitantly said.

"We're almost there, don't worry." Caira taunted. They walked a ways more, basically everyone had turned back at this point. Wade, Issan, and Elof ended up heading into one of the shops that were still open. Suddenly Valentine heard a noise from behind him like someone was following them. He turned around to see what it was and almost as soon as he turned he felt a sharp pain glide across his back and right side.

A few minutes earlier:

Sheppard sprinted to the roof but to his dismay, none of the kids were there.

"Fuck! I'm too late!" Sheppard snarled.

"Where could those damn kids have gone, better yet how long was I out?" He thought to himself. He looked at his watch which read 00:25 hours.

"Sheppard? What are you doing here?" Calden asked.

"CALDEN! TELL ME, WHERE IS CAIRA!" Sheppard demanded.

"T-They went down south street..." Stuttered Calden. Sheppard's eyes widened as he began to process what Calden had just said.

"Did you just say... 'they'?" Sheppard hissed.

Present:

Caira smirked as she saw Valentine turn his back. She put the top over her fist to the palm of her hand and drew her Talisman.

"Sorry I had to lead you on Val, you were a good guy." She whispered. Caira thrust her lance into Valentine's back. But before she could completely impale him, something smashed into her from the side. She was sent flying into a building.

Valentine felt a burning pain as he saw blood begin to pour out of his side.

"What the fuck just happened?" Valentine thought to himself. "Whatever it was, it must have ruptured my lung cause its hard to breathe now. My ribs are completely destroyed and my kidney and liver are probably pretty fucked up too." He went on. Valentine turned to look behind him and saw a girl standing where Caira was. She had long, dark brown hair, freckles, and blue eyes. Before he could get a better look she leaped at where Ciara was knocked to and threw a punch that destroyed the rest of the building. Through the smoke someone jumped out, It didn't look like Caira or the other girl though.

"You bitch! Who the hell are you!" It was no doubt Caira's voice that said that.

"But why does she look so different?" Valentine wondered. Then it hit him, she wasn't Caira. At least not the Caira he thought he knew. He realized how naïve he was. A girl, interested in him the minute they meet? How dumb could he be?

"She was more than likely just trying to get information, and considering the Headmaster showed interest in me I was probably her best bet." He told himself "Wait, that tattoo on her arm, that must've meant something!"

He turned his attention back to the fight. There was no response from the other girl, she just lunged at Caira throwing another punch. This time her fist was glowing a bright orange. Caira returned fire by summoning a wall of knives, throwing them all at the new girl. The girl opened her fist and out came a massive blast of fire that melted the knives instantly.

"Shit, I can't just stand by and watch, I've gotta do something." Valentine told himself. "Just remember what Farica told you when in need, just a thought can summon the blade. Well now is a better time than any. I need you, VENTURA!." Valentine waved his arm out and red translucent particles began appearing in his hand, each an odd and unique geometric shape. They began to take shape of his sword until finally the particles shattered revealing the Blade of Fate. Valentine tried walking forward, the pain was unbearable but he had no choice.

"Shit, it's too damn heavy to swing with one arm, and if I try using both, this damn wound might actually kill me. If this sword was more wieldy for a single- " Valentine stopped. He looked at the sword which now had taken shape of a rapier. He was in shock but quickly was taken back to reality when the new girl was slammed to the ground by a girl with short black hair. It was Caira without a doubt. But her hair, and eyes changed completely. As well as some of her facial features.

"Times up princess." Caira smirked. She raised her arm with a battle-ax high in the air and swung it down at her head. But the ax never hit. She turned and looked to her right and on the ground was her hand with the ax still in it. Caira jumped back letting out a cry of pain. Valentine stood there, his sword dripping with blood.

"You won't try to punch me if I ask your name, will you? By the way, I'm Valentine." Valentine joked.

"It's Alya, and thanks for the help but don't get too involved. You're too injured to do anymore." Alya told Valentine.

"I've got the energy for one more good strike, but I'll need your help to get it off. If you can get her near me again we can hit her from both sides. I'll stay by her lance, it might help." Valentine suggested.

"You're smart Val, but don't get hurt. Alright, let's do that." Alya responded. She lunged at Caira, trading blow after blow, ripping through buildings. Caira summoned a bladed whip out of her palm and snapped it around the area, slicing most of the buildings to pieces. Alya threw up a wall of ice strong enough that it deflected the whip. Ayla pulled out two hook swords from her back and started going back on the offensive. She utilized the versatility of the unconventional weapons to catch Caira off guard by attacking in unorthodox ways. While the blades are short, they can still be swung at long range. By linking the tips of the swords together, she was able to utilize the large blade on the handguard as an incredibly potent weapon. She swung and hit.

"Shit, the swing landed but it only grazed her. I can't let that become a trend or I'm not gonna beat her." Alya thought to herself. She lunged forward with a relentless barrage of attacks, putting as much pressure on Caira as possible. But even with this Caira was able to keep pace. Anywhere there was a swing, Caira summoned a weapon to match.

"Who is this girl? This seems like it might be her Irade, but this is a summon of some type so it cant be." Alya pondered. Suddenly, one of her swords got knocked out of her hand. She jumped back and sheathed the other. Alya put her hands together in a Sham position. A symbol appeared on her forehead and Caira looked in shock.

"How the hell do you already know how to activate one of the Chakra marks?" Caira asked, puzzled.

"My dad taught me." Alya smirked.

Ayla jumped back toward Valentine and Caira took the bait. This was it.

Valentine leaped forward, winding his blade back. Alya saw her next move and whipped around behind Caira grabbing the remaining sword. She swung it at Caira's neck. Valentine thrust his rapier at her neck at the same time. He was fast, but still not fast enough to compete with someone using Chayil. Especially not of her caliber. Mere inches before contact, Caira's hand touched the hilt of her lance.

With two words, she brought the city to its knees...
