Administrator and The 14 Pieces

Inside a dark room, there were a lot of screens showing the ongoing turtorial. A man wearing black cloak was sitting in front of the screens and observing it. He had a serene look in his eyes as if nothing could escape his vision and nothing could affect him. He had a sort of mysterious aura and couldn't be seen through. As he was looking in the screen, suddenly his eyes flickered. He became excited. "One of the piece of the 14. It was in the trial. How many of them does this planet hides?" He was looking at the screen showing a boy unconcious in the white room with his hands clutching a book. "Universe is going to get chaotic soom." He again returned to his serene mode.

"This boy sure is lucky to encounter that at the start of his evolution. And that's not all, he encountered one of the most versatile one among the 14. If he survives the order, he will surely become a monster. But the chances of him surviving are close to none. Those old monsters won't let him live for long." He shighed. " These pieces are curse in the form of reward. Let's see what you show the universe, boy." As he was busy thinking about pieces, he had forgotten one of the important thing. Suddenly there was a spartial crack in middle of the room and a 3 meter figure walked out of it. "So it was you who was released, Satanael. I had my doubts when I saw the quote but it didn't cross my mind that you would be sealed in the backward planet with no Prana."

"You sure like to act mysterious, even after centuries." Satanael gave out an evil laugh. "Don't make a mistake of considering this planet a backward one. You will know soon enough why was this planet able to seal me even when Gabirel could only fight me to draw." The mysterious man raised his one eyebrow and said, "Are you trying to copy me by acting mysterious? If so then don't do it, it makes me want to puke." Satanael looked at him and then looked at the boy sleeping peacefully on the screen. "So, there is something that even you as a administrator doesn't know. I thought you guys knew everything as you were the moderator. Seems like something deep is hidden. So, I can't tell you about anything I learnt without you paying me the appropriate price."

"I'm not interested in paying you anything. I will know soon enough." The mysterious man brushed off Satanael's offer. "Now, what are your plans ? Returning to your teritory." Satanaes looked at the man in shock. "So you can control your urges. I thought you will jump on the offer to get promotion. Anyways, you will surely regret today's decision. And I'm not telling my plans for you to publish it around that stupid network." Satanael flared up and just dissapeared from the room. The mysterious man was left alone in the dark, eerie room. "Hah.. I thought he had improved his temper after being sealed for centuries but it's still the same." The man again started looking at the screens. There were only about 100 screen and each was showing different person and was constantly changing. Some of the shown people were never shown again and some were shown repeatedly.

Every screen was shame but one was different. It was showing the list of top 500 eminent person. It was list of people with higher prospect for future and Prajwal ranking had just been updated to 99. From this one could tell, monsters were being created in the turtorial. Even with one of the universe most desired treasure, he was barely in top 100. If not for that book, he would have just entered in top 1,000 due to his intelligence. A billion of people had participated in the trial, that was about 13 percentile of the planet's population. And he was just an average guy in terms of raw power and abilities. There was just an exception intelligence. Though high starting stats were in numbers around the universe, people with high starting intelligence could be counted easily as it was directly related to the use of prana and especially skills. These pranas and skills were new concepts and required different kind of understanding, 70% had intelligence below the average (10) and remaing had not more than double of average value. Only about 0.5% in the universe had more than double value. Stats looked simple by looking at the panel but they weren't as simple as many thought. As an administrator, he knew more than general populous. He could understand the significance of having more than 20 starting intelligence stat. And that was not all, he still had trial to increase his intelligence. But they were not as important as starting one. The starting stats showed potential. Some might break the limit of the potential as they are not unbreakable but most don't even reach there full potential. So, only time could say whether this guy could release all his potential.

The man also noticed that, people on this planet were rather more accepting of the new era. This planet was filled with majority being unsatisfied with their lives. If not for the death rate shown before the trial, it could be estimated that about 50 percentile would have participated. This was the level of dissatisfaction here. But the ranking were constantly changing and Prajwal's rank could increase more as he was one of the only 20 people who choose to do all the trials. And among 20, 5 had already been eaten by the eagle. They were exhausted and injured in the first trial and couldn't handle the spiked difficulty of the trials.

"Those who survive all the trials and complete the hidden trial will become absolute monster to be feared around the universe. Let's how many of them survives." The administrator murmed as he looked at the 15 screens on top which were showing the 15 different person without removing them from the screen. They got highest screen time. Suddenly the man stood up and looked at a screen which was glowing. Even though it wasn't among the 15, it shocked him to core. " There is the second piece of 14 within the trial. This one is also one of the most sought out one. What is this planet hiding? Grandmaster just found the people here interesting and nothing much, else he would have warned us. What is here that can hide from the eyes of grandmaster? I'm already starting to regret for cancelling that deal. That bastard wouldn't tell me now even if i beg."

He highlighted the blinking screen and kept it at the 16th position. "He seems to have participated only in 4 trials. Strength, endurance, health, stamina. It seems to be well thought of. Looking at his built, he sure took advantage of his starting stats." This person's ranking jumped to 45. The administrator stopped looking at the screens, sat on the chair and closed his eyes. He was reflecting his behaviour and thinking of appropriate attitude to act until he was the administrator of this planet. His role will end soon with the end of the trial. He thought of Satanael's remiender. 'Don't understimate them'. "This planet has deep history. I shouldn't delve too deep into it or I might never be able to make out. If existence like Satanael was caged, there's no way I can escape. Should I report this to grandmaster or not? If I report then I might get promoted but will surely lose any chance of building friendship with natives. Should I not report then I might be fired or even killed later when the secret is out in open ? What should I do?"

There was suddenly a spark in his eyes. His serene eyes were showing signs of greed. "Even after that wrathful bastard was released, he didn't attack the planet to cool down his wrath. He must be afraid of awakening or disturbing someone who he fears. The universe fears him and there is something that can make him fear in this planet. It's obvious whose side I should choose. I will leave my message to the one who comes out as the strongest in this planet to show my support. I will leak the importance of this planet, then reveal my plan to perplex the universe until he /she develops. Then I might be able to gain some benefit and raise my strength."
