Chapter seven Jimi's POV

It was the school inter-house sports season, the students were grouped into different houses which were red, blue, yellow, white, and greenhouse.

Very house was expected to bring out the best among them to represent them. The competition was both track and field events such as running, jumping, and so on. The student was expected to bring out their best for the competition, the house masters were to choose the best among their term to represent their term.

Jimi seems to be everywhere at the same time as he was going to represent his term in both track and field events.

"Up red house! Up the red house! "the red team shouted to cheer Jimi who was going to represent them in the race.

"am sure Red House will win, " Tobi a short fat lassie with short hair cut said

"You can't be so sure Tobi, White House also has a good team especially their girls so we just need to wait and see which team will win" Rosa a member of the greenhouse said.

Jimi spotted Kira who was also preparing for the hundred-meter race for senior girls that will commence immediately after the hundred-meter junior girls.

"Hi K"

"Hi Jimi "

"How have you been doing?

"Why do you ask?

"Come on K because I care".

"Good for you" Kira snapped at him.

"Why are you so picky towards me? I can't stand it anymore, We have known each other since childhood and here you have given me a kind of attitude "

"Because you came at the wrong time"

"Wong time? Jimi smirked "Wong time because you shot your shot at me and I kissed you right? Or because I told you that I was still a virgin, does that make you embarrassed, Does my present make you awkward?

Some minutes later Jimi was on the market line called Lain he was about to run a hundred-meter race, and all the participants ran off immediately after they heard the gunshot. They all ran like an antelope that was running away from its prey.

"Up red house! The red team shouted immediately Jimi came first.

At the end of the competition Red House came first, the White House came second, and Yellow came third.

Johnny noticed Jimi's unusual attitude, Jimi isolated himself, and he looked downcast.

"Hi Jims, watin sup"

"Hi Johnny, at last, we won"

" oh! Boy, you do not look good was the matter?

"Nothing, just that Kira has been giving me some attitude these days"

"Your wife is giving you attitude "

"Boy be serious, I don't like your joke "

"am serious Jimi It is you who do not want to tell me what you feel for her, Boy I know you like Kira even if you haven't said it am not blind. You have to chase her and win her to yourself before another guy takes her away from you".

"What if she doesn't agree with me"

"Jimi you're the son of a diplomatic, You're tall handsome, and intelligent You have known her for a long while now so dude no need to panic just chase her that's all".

Jimi sat on a rocky chair, he was surrounded by so many drawings and paintings. Despite his outstanding performance at school, Jimi derived joy from painting and was very much obsessed with a particular painting which was "Kira" he had a lot of her paintings in his studio and was still drawing more every day.

He thinks about her, the feelings she gives him then about the kiss he probably can't forget in a rush. He wished he was going to get that passionate kiss from her every day.
