Loki schemes

It's been a few weeks since the expedition started between the Hephaestus and Loki Familia and even without our Familia joining I still asked them to let me join as I have to look for the last item for my weapons upgrade.

I also want to accompany them because of the upcoming Denatus.

Hephaestus had to attend that event, and I don't want to help in my busy restaurant because there would be too many tourists and adventurers on that day.

'Let them suffer, hehe bunshin to win.'

The main executive of the Loki Familia already returned here on the 18th floor after they ventured towards the depths of the dungeon before going back as there were too many members that were poisoned.

And typically, I am avoiding Tiona.

Even after I reject her advances she persists until this day.

What I'm really bothered with is even when I warn it to Hephaestus she would only laugh and tells me to just accept them with Freya in a harem.

('I know that you love me David, but I don't think that I can't handle all of your 'love' alone.')

That is what she said, but I noticed that she is avoiding me way too much these past few days, I already tried tailing her and 'asking' some people; however, I found nothing suspicious at all.

"Could you please leave me alone Tiona, no matter what you try it would not react."

The energetic Amazoness is with her usual gang at my usual hidden bathing place that they found just a day after returning from the lower floor.

I know that Tiona is pursuing me even after being repeatedly rejected, and I know it's their personality as an Amazoness however why is her twin, Ais, Lefiya, and even Riviera here?

"Hehe maybe because you have nothing to show Tiona and that's why he is not aroused?"

Tione teased her twin who is doing some silly poses with her flat body in front of naked David, they found him alone relaxing in a lake beside one of the large roots of the center tree.

And before they can even react Tiona dove into the water with a great splash, wetting us all with her carelessness.

Tione still remembers how David immediately goes on the offensive when someone bothers him when bathing however they have no choice but to join him as they are already wet.

'It's not like he never saw our body before, and he is way too gentlemanly to do anything since I can only remember his great thing reacting without doing anything.'

"Shut up stupid Tione! Finn never even touched you even with your meat bags so don't flaunt that thing in front of me!"

Tiona retorted in annoyance, her sister has been chasing Finn for so long yet he didn't even look at her as a woman and now Tione also wants her to fail.

"At least I have something for Finn to look at while David is already dozing while looking at your pitiful figure Tiona!"

Ignoring any decency Tione pounced on her Tiona in her all glory for everyone to see, David can only sigh and thank Riveria for stopping the both of them before they can destroy his secret place which is not a secret anymore.

"I heard that you fought the King and won David, was it true?"

Their goddess Loki sent an urgent message even while they are still in a dungeon, so every executive member of their Familia had known what happened between Ottar and David.

Riveria the Nine Hell in just a towel sits beside me while conversing in a quiet voice, I know that it would not be a secret as Hephaestus wants me to be a hero or something.

However, it is way too early for me to be in the limelight, and my beating Ottar in a fight for a start would only cause a doubt instead of the populace's admiration and acknowledgment.

"Yes, however, it is only a sparring to test my strength, and I don't think Ottar is giving his all in that fight, or else I would definitely lose."

Riveria only smiled at his modesty, a few weeks ago the whole town of Orario was shaking without any reason, and even she felt it while in the dungeon where the tremor was stronger.

'It means that the whole impact of Ottar strikes was transferred straight to the ground instead of spreading it out, a testament of his tremendous skill.'

Riveria in an awkward position tried to show a little bit of her skin to him, however seeing his deadpan reaction while looking at the twin, she remembered that his 'beauty' is way beyond any of them.

'Loki already told us about their fight and 'asked' us to rope him in our circle, while it sounds like a plan that reeks of Loki. I already planned to be closer to him and uncover his identity.'

Riveria can now clearly feel the mana in the surrounding that is bending for him, she had a doubt that his origin might be greater than anything however she doesn't still don't have proof at this point.

After leveling up twice he can now be considered a true elf because of Evolution, however, his ears were still covered by his hair at all times which was now shorter but fuller.

Ais on the side is playing with the water with the now-dead Lefiya, her nose is bleeding while mindlessly floating in the water.

The water is now in turmoil with the Sword Princess assault, she didn't know how to approach him because after knowing that even after she levels up, David would still be stronger than her.

She thought that he is only stronger in technique and skills however his growth in strength is way beyond Bell.

She badly wants to talk to him, but she was busy training someone else this past month, and he is nowhere to be found except for his restaurant which is only open in the morning where she had to dive into the dungeon.

With the lake already dancing in waves David tried to cover his head before the water penetrate his now sensitive elongated ears however without a reason Riveria pounce him abruptly and submerged him in the chaotic lake.

With wide eyes he saw Riveria with a surprised reaction while touching his ears, the towel hiding her beauty was long gone after Ais's attack, and now he can finally discover everything she was hiding.

While he is already a level 4 and can battle Ottar head-on, he can only do that while in the Sixth gate and being assaulted underwater by a level 6 Riviera and now Tiona who suddenly appeared, he can only vividly remember their beauty before passing out.

"I finally got a reaction, Tione!"

Waking up I ignored the rustle beside me and breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that my necklace is still with me.

Looking around I saw someone looking intently at me while covering his face with the blanket wrapped around his shoulder. He looks around my age with striking white hair and red eyes.

'Wait was this the kid I saved from the Minotaur?'

Before I can greet and apologize for showering him with blood and gore he dashed outside suddenly while still covered in bandages.

"What was that?"

Shaking my head I retrieve my umbrella and fix the bandages that were clumsily applied to hide my Falna. There's a lot of questioning I have to do as reading someone's status without permission is a huge Taboo.

However, before I could proceed to my destination, a green-haired woman with an upright demeanor greeted me before entering my tent.

"I would like to apologize for my earlier blunder David, especially for reading your status without your permission."

Looking straight at Riveria's bowing form, my anger was greatly diminished after her heartfelt apology. While she may have read my stats, I doubt that she can understand the rest as my Falna is way too obscure for those who don't speak the word of gods.

However, I firmly believe that everything has a prize and just forgiving them would not be my style.

"Who else has known about this matter Miss Riveria, you know that this is not a simple thing that could be fixed by a simple apology."

I tried to increase the bid as finding the last item would be next to impossible to acquire in this place however Riveria suddenly undressed with a stern face.

"It was my fault that you passed out solely David, and there's no one else but me who can read your Falna, I can also promise you that I have never told anyone about your status even to my goddess Loki."

Riveria is no longer pulling her punches to receive his attention anymore, she thought that she have to wait for a few more years to reach her however it seems a huge mistake on her part.

"I respected you greatly Miss Riveria and offering yourself to me would be a spit on my respect to you, I can only hope that you keep what you saw with yourself as a return instead."

Helpless he can only fix her clothes before walking out, while her beauty already surpassed most goddesses, his love for Hephaestus is beyond reach.

However, before he can take a step outside, Riveria turns to face and kisses him before running outside and screaming something.

"I just want you to look at my status as an apology and not something indecent!"

Riveria can no longer take it and escape.

Looking at her disappearing figure, I waited for a while before calling out at the stalking person hiding in the canopy of trees.

"What do you need, Sword Princess, if it is regarding to the earlier mishap I already talked with Riveria, so it is already fine."

"Fight me, Magen David!"

Ais declared with a resolute face before drawing her sword.
