Just like any other day of this damn life, I used my sweet little nighttime to cope up with the sadness that embraced me. It had always been like that. People said I have everything I could have in life: title, wealth, talents, and influence. Being born as a Highmore was a bonus, a plus, a perk, which made this life perfect.
The reality of that oh-so-perfect image was saddening and maddening. It made me sick.
I had no one.
What I meant by that was I would give this life everyone was so envious of in a heartbeat if I could. Although I had Lisha, whom I trusted the most, I couldn't confide in her. Not because I knew she wouldn't listen or because of anything of the sort.
