Nicole glanced up to see someone she had definitely not expected to see. She didn't skip the rest of the school day, she simply spent the rest of her classes in the very back corner of the classroom, in the library or anywhere where she could easily avoid everyone.

At the end of the day, she quickly left the school as fast as she could without getting in the way of anyone because she knew that if anyone of her friends saw her, they would stop her and try to talk to her. It was already hard enough avoiding them in class.

Nicole was now sitting in her kitchen, on the table busy working on an English assignment as she was trying to do whatever she could to get her mind away from reality and stay focused or distracted by other things.

She glanced up when she heard the familiar voice. Her eyes met a pair of familiar brown eyes. /"Charlotte?/"
