[Lyander's POV]
"Father," Reynar faced Ernst with a scowl on his face. "Things aren't looking good for us. Maybe we should just ally ourselves with the Black Moon?"
Ernst vehemently shook his head, and his eyes dilated, causing Reynar to flinch and avert his gaze.
"Like I said, allying ourselves with the Black moon doesn't guarantee our safety. They even hired mercenary wolves to weaken us, killing two of our fighters, and you want to ally with that kind of werewolves?"
"B-but, it isn't confirmed that it's really the Black Moon. For all we know, it's the White Moon or some other pacts," Reynar argued while he shrunk in his seat when Ernst snarled.
"Enough! We will not ally with those scums, and that's final. We will fight until our last breath and die with our pride intact and with our head held high!"
Reynar pressed his lips tight and hid his twisting face.
