“Hey, look at me.” Sam grabbed Trevor’s hand. As Trevor’s eyes met Sam’s, he knew Sam was thinking the same thoughts as him, and how Sam got through a crushing blow in his life and made it through with help from his friend.
“You got us, you know,” Sam smiled sadly.
“I know, we are always there for each other, huh.” Trevor smiled back. “I am glad I met Jordan, but I’m scared of never seeing him again. I mean, what if he meets some sexy high-powered executive who wines and dines him…” Trevor sniffed.
“That won’t happen. I don’t like wine.” Jordan came into the room, looking sad but excited at the same time. “Hey, Sam. How ya feeling? I was waiting for Trevor to text and let me know, and when I didn’t hear from him, I thought I would stop by.”
