“Hey Trev, I’m heading out. My shift starts in twenty.” Sam’s friend walked over and introduced himself to Jordan as Christian, which he appreciated.
“Cool man, be careful.” Trevor hugged his friend. Christian smiled and waved as he left. Jordan noticed the gleam left Sam’s eye and Jordan felt for him. He had it bad for the guy, but from what Jordan could tell Christian wasn’t ready for that yet.
“He’s not out yet, huh?” Jordan didn’t know why he asked the question. He was curious. He seemed like a nice enough guy, handsome in a I-can-lift-you-over-my-shoulder-and-not-break-a-sweat way, super buff with a sweet smile.
“Nah, I’ve known him for many years, and sometimes I think he is ready and other times not. I don’t push him. Christian is who he is, and Sam, well, he’s got it bad for him.” Chuckling, Trevor went on toexplain Sam’s fascination with Christian and Christian’s ambiguous interest. Jordan winced at Sam’s predicament.
