Senses of a Dragon!

Once I touched down onto the ground I pulled out some of my Bacon and started snacking on it. God I am going to get fat, diabetes, or something from eating so much meat, but it's so good.

'Informing host, host can literally buy anything that is, was mentioned, or was thought of in every single universe and creation. Granted prices will vary, but there are ways of becoming immortal, having a fit body with a pill, having a perfect immune system. Anything is available to host, it is a matter of points.'

Yeah I know it is, and I've gotten bubkis.

'Host started on a world that does not have many missions available to host and host has not discovered enough missions. Mission with highest possibility of earning points is the war mission with many different grades of completion.'

Yeah yeah I know. Hopefully Danmachi will be more mission friendly. Or maybe there is an upgrade that I can get that can increase missions?

'Affirmative. As host upgrades system, system will develop better, more helpful, and more informative functions. One such benefit are more missions, more detailed missions, better rewards being unlocked, waypoints, etc. Host only needs to unlock upgrade then upgrade what he wishes for.'

Man, I need more points to make points, well that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess.

I finish up a few more pieces of bacon and a pancake before I walk up to the dragon. Hm, I should mass make some chinese food. No, wait. Save it for after shokugeki no soma world. Have patience Joe, you will become the ultimate chef.

I talk to the dragon after remembering to be patient, "Alright, I've taken a small break and am ready for the next demonstration." The dragon nods then walks in front of the white dragon, they both nod at each other before the sage dragon cloaks himself with the energy(I think) and the white dragon starts making a torrent of wind around him.

After a short moment the white dragon stops and the sage dragon appears beside it with a claw (Paw?) on it's head. The sage dragon then walks up to me and explains what to do, "Your goal is to touch him without getting noticed at all. If you do then you restart from the beginning position. The hint I will give you is let yourself become one with nature energy, after your last two training sessions this will be a breath of fresh air since you don't have to exert yourself too much physically. Though in the last two you weren't supposed to rely on physical strength and instead rely on your spiritual it is fine." The dragon then lays down to take a short(?) nap.

I walk up to in front of the white dragon and sit down, after that I summon many clones again and have them start training in wrapping themselves in the nature energy. I look to the dragon and nod, it then nods back at me before starting the strong gusts that I had felt before. I stay seated where I was, as do all my clones, but we all start imagining different methods to erase our presence.

It was after an hour and me trading out two sage mode batteries that a clone finally started making progress. What you actually did was basically make yourself one with the surroundings as fucking cheesy as that sounds, but it worked. Best not stupid way to explain it is basically like a chameleon. I am basically making myself blend in with the background but to a crazier extent. It actually makes the wind go right through me, well right now it makes the wind go through just my hands, that's the point where the clone got to before it shared its knowledge with me.

Now that all the clones, and myself of course, had a direction to follow we all started training. It was a weird way of using the energy too, because instead of coating myself with it, it's more like running it through me, almost like I am a grate. Water is able to pass through me (Well I don't know that yet, but it's to use the grate metaphor) but solid objects won't go through me.

After a couple more hours of training and a couple more batteries I was exhausted, it was night time, and I managed to get most of my body to lose it's presence. I couldn't do more than that though, and I was tired if having so many shadow clones up while I am asleep since it just makes me more tired so I unsummoned all but 1 of them before I passed out by the dragon sage's tail.

Once I woke up I first summoned several clones to work as my sage mode batteries and then started eating my breakfast which was, if you could guess, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. I am so sick of these that after breakfast I am going to give all the bacon to the dragons. I'll give the sausage to the tigers.

I stand back up and stretch my back after I finish eating and go up to the sage dragon, "Hey, I have a lot of food, cooked meat specifically, that I am sick of eating. I was wondering if you or any other dragon wanted some." He picks his head up from where he was laying on the ground.

"Oh? Food you say? Well I will try a small bit first if you don't mind." I nod to him, it is better to test it before you ask for a lot so I grab a few strips and toss them into his open mouth. He closes his mouth and swallows, then starts talking to me, "How much of this meat do you have because I will definitely take all of it!" Wow he seems enthusiastic.

I pull out a small mountain of it, it's at least 2 of me tall. Yeah, what I cooked when you saw me make breakfast for everyone was only the tip of the iceberg. I spent so long cooking all of this.

The dragon then looks at the pile and just eats the whole damn thing. Well not all of it, he would need to pull out some of the ground, but he only left a good couple inches of back left on the floor and something tells me he will start eating that too after I turn away.

Honestly, that kind of scared me so I turn away to get back to my training which was getting very close according to the clones memories, though that was while sitting still. Losing presence while moving was much different, especially in an area like that with as much havoc as it has.

I sit back down and start finishing up erasing my presence with a few other clones, due to how close it was though, we only had to sit there for about 10 minutes. After that though is where it wasn't fun, we moved up to doing it while standing still which didn't take long, then moving slowly which is where it started getting difficult. It took us 30 minutes just to be able to walk extremely slowly.

I wasn't having any of that though, I want to be able to walk at a comfortable pace before I'll be satisfied, and it took another hour of effort just to do that, and even then it wasn't easy. Though it should be enough just to get to the dragon.

I move to the starting point and nod at the dragon who nods in response, he knows that I am really starting now. Well at least I hope he does, dragons are supposed to be smart though so I am sure I'll be fine.

I hide myself and start moving forward at a slow walking speed when suddenly wind blades start going everywhere. Is this really the way we are going to play it? Fine let's go fucker! I start moving at a slightly faster pace, enough that I am still hidden, and at an angle so that hopefully it is harder to hit me. After Zig zagging for a bit a blade started coming at me that I couldn't avoid, so as fast as I could without breaking the cloak I had on I crouched down to go under it. After it passed over me, a little close to comfort I feel is worth adding by the way, I slowly stood back up and continued onward.

At this point I'm now 30 feet away from the dragon and it's not focusing on me for some reason, something must have happened to the left and it thinks I'm over there. Taking this opportunity I slowly continue carrying onward. Once I get 10 feet away the air seemed to get even more chaotic, so I had to stand still for a moment to adapt to it for a few minutes until I felt confident enough to keep walking forward. After walking a couple more feet I had to stop again to readjust, then again, and again for a last time once I was within arms reach. This last step took me 20 minutes alone due to just how oddly the wind was flowing, it was as if a Hurricane decided to go and join vertically with another hurricane.

Once I had adapted to it finally I slowly reached out and put my hand onto it's claw, though it seemed it still couldn't notice my presence so I removed the cloak that I put on while still having my hand on the dragon. After noticing where I was the dragon stopped his onslaught of wind and the sage dragon spoke up, "Excellent progress, excellent! At this rate we will be able to teach you actual combat techniques on your last day here! Though that does depend on you chakra nature still, I am getting ahead of myself though. Let us begin the last test."

I nod and walk back to the position to where I can see everything, "This will be the hardest test, not just due to you needing to rely on sight/senses, but due to you needing to use all the previous skills you had learned to capture the dragon. Now watch." The dragon sage finishes speaking to me before nodding to the small black dragon who then disappears. After giving it a few moments to hide the dragon sage sits still for a few moments before disappearing. Then not long after he disappeared the black dragon is dragged back to the spot he was standing in.

The sage dragon then talks to me, "For this test the black dragon can move anywhere on the top of this mountain and cannot fly or leave it in any way. You must catch him and bring him back to in his spot in line. As for your hint, well don't forget that you have other senses besides eyes." Well I mean I figured it was something to do with sensing nature energy or other kinds of energy.

I sit down in a spot in front of the black dragon and start having the clones practice various things like enhancing eyes, hearing, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. There are also a few trying other unconventional methods like making a small domain around myself to the point where I can sense any movement or a wide (and I mean large, I'm trying to make it cover this mountain top) to where I can notice big movements, and maybe in the future different amounts of chakra being expended.

After training for 2 hours I have gotten my eyesight sharp enough to be able to 50 miles away, which I know is a feat because, random fact time, the human eye(if in good condition) can see a candle light up to 30 miles away in the dark!

What else happened? Oh yeah, I was able to hear my shadow clone snap his fingers when he snapped his fingers I could hear him from 10 miles away, as for taste well I am scared to test that out but I feel it'll come in handy when going to food wars. Touch was something similar, it definitely made me more sensitive to touches, but other than that it didn't do much. Smell was the only other one that increased a lot since not only can I smell farther but I can also smell a lot more. It's definitely weird but will be useful.

Also the dragons each have their own scent to them, which I will assume because of their elements. Yellow smells like the crisp left behind when something is burned, the brown like grass, the white smells like a fresh breeze in a grassy field, and the black one smells like, quite honestly, death. Rot specifically.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, my experiments were a success, well mostly. For now I can sense everything withing a 2 foot radius from me which isn't enough to react to everything but it's a start. As for the wide range one, sadly it does not cover most of the mountain, but it does cover a decent amount.
