Chapter 26 more little secrets, end of Nemesis?, more enemies!

They say that when a man fights without reason his strength will be limited but when he finds himself a reason to fight it doubles, how much more when driven by desperation and longing?

Jack was having that moment, as the group of Armored Zombies numbered less than 40 now thanks to his arrows and Shido squashing them.

For every kill he made, it seemed to extend the timer by 10 seconds!

So even with only one arm left, he had to make the best of his bow skills, even if he had to return to being the cold-blooded hunter that he was once before!

Shido was growing in skill and power thanks to his body being that of nemesis, as every time his body was blasted by the rail guns his current enemies were using it only served to make him even stronger as his body was growing even bigger.

He was enjoying himself at the feeling of nearly endless power seemed to be in his grasp as Shido wanted his old adversary to die under his feet as Shido violated his loved, Oooohhh the look on Jack's face should it happen again~ Shido want to see him break completely!

the Manipulative and sadistic nature of his wasn't something he originally enjoyed that was until he came across a strange orb that entered his body on his 13th birthday, making him see visions and strange dreams of another man's life one of a rich man whose life was completely different than the stories made about him.

----start of slight back story----

the man's name was Ebenezer Scrooge unlike the books and stories depicted about he was once a gentle and caring man who loved spending time with his loved ones in Christmas, the world he resided in was full of magic and wonders, yet until one Christmas morning came along his kind actions lead to the death of his loved ones before everything went downhill from there.

scammed, mugged, beaten half to death, it was no wonder he quickly descended to being cruel, manipulative, and half the mind insane!

Shido thought that this was some kind of warning something to follow and sure enough, after beating one of his maids to death after raping her repeatedly to seal her lips he then shifted the blame to the maid's love framing the man with the wealth and power he had to back up his 'claims'.

As the look on the despairing man's face awakened more of the sadistic nature that the memories imprinted into his mind from a kind boy to a manipulative, and cruel man his father actually approved of his boy's actions further spurring his actions to become crueler and crueler.

Jack was the only victim of his that annoyed him as his optimistic nature back then made Shido want to break him! completely if possible! only for him to regret not killing the man when he was still so weak and harmless.

Shido intended on being thorough this time during his brief distraction the numbers of the attacking platoon of armored zombies dwindled a bit as he was toying with them dodging the beam attacks purposely making the mall take the stray bullets, but no matter he wanted to kill these guys before finishing off Jack, to make sure that the problem would be nipped before it becomes a complete threat.

Shido was about to tear a piece of the wall from the mall off then throw it at the platoon but something hit the side of his head before he started hearing a beeping sound which was quickly followed by a deafening sound that ruptured his ear temporarily as his body recovered from it.

One side of his head was blown apart as black blood spurted out before his head regenerated, as he was feeling angry from the powerful attack! He assumed it was the platoon as of on their guns was smoking at the moment.

So Shido fell to all fours and charged at them like a wild beast!

As this moment jack used his grappling hook to arrive on the back of a pickup truck which was not too far behind the platoon that lost so many members because of the joint efforts of shido and his arrows as his body was starting to look better and his eye was repaired and improved knocking a few more arrows again, and the three of the arrows happened to be more explosive arrows and one of them was an electric arrow~

Jack wanted to see if it could still stun Shido despite being the size of a large compartment.

As Shido was charging at the platoon they fired another volley of beams to which their target simply dodged to the side and melted another portion of the mall while it worried jack, he fired his silent and invisible arrows at the now Roaring abomination making all four arrows enter his mouth!

Jack then made a risky decision as the railguns of what was left of the formerly 50 members of the platoon that were currently charging their weapons, using his grappling hook, he commandeered one of the railguns that were one the ground and still glowing, the comrades of the owner didn't notice his actions as they were focused on the large monster that was heading their way!

Shido who was facing towards his direction saw this after having more that half of his face destroyed and some of his neck and chest included, panicked before making double the efforts to kill them as soon as possible!

While jack was receiving a rather interesting upgrade of his arsenal as the gun entered his chest and some changes on the suit's energy output!

Jack was grinning at this moment as he created the new weapon using the pickup as the Plasma cannon aimed straight at Shido whose eyes widened in shock as the gun disappeared and reappeared in his remaining hand as his legs helped hold it in place one was behind it and the other was under it, the abomination had completely forgotten that he could've used the mall to stop him yet the sudden change of the situation made him anchored in place.

Jack activated the gun to its full capacity before saying this.

"EAT THIS YOU FUCKING LOWLIFE!!!"

The beam from his plasma cannon was way past the safety condition causing it to melt yet jack didn't care as now all he wanted was to end Shido completely!

the beam reached its target, yet jack wasn't able to relax as the platoon was all aiming for him again and something large and terrifying fell from the sky right above the very platoon that was trying to kill him!

As for what it was it didn't look human-like but more like a winged serpent that had its mouth wide open while trying to swallow them whole, but what was truly terrifying about it... was the thousands of smaller ones that followed it!
