Chapter 23 Immortal grunt, He's Back~

Jack was trying to find the group that he was supposed to protect but he came across a strange undead that was different from the usual ones he fought in a storage room of the mall, this one had a F*cking exoskeleton suit with a gun that was glowing eerily!

because of how bulky it looked Jack thought that this guy was a friggin space marine being 6 feet tall and armored up like that but he lacked the bolt gun, the jet pack and there were too many gaps in the armor!

He wasn't even given a chance to speak before the Armored Undead dashed forward trying to tackle him as the ground it dashed from cracked!

Jack made full use of the AGILITY MODE as its slim frame narrowly dodged the charging A.U. to which he clawed at testing out the sharpness of his blade-like fingers, tearing a small chunk from the A.U. side before a gauntlet backhanded his face sending him flying into the wall.

Jack was dizzy for a bit but quickly snapped out of it as the loud sound of *WHIIRRRRRR* made him quickly do a dodge roll to the left as a beam of light blasted the wall creating molten stone and metal!

this made him panic a bit but the sound of something sizzling followed before the A.U. holstered the gun before clenching his gauntlets and four long metal claws popped out that was barely inches away from the ground, but that wasn't the end these claws began humming as its wielder grinned widely as if to enjoy Jack's reaction before showing him just how sharp these 'claws' were compared to his as it waved the 'humming' claws towards one of the nearby boxes and the target slid apart!

This made Jack Gulp before bracing himself to dodge and not attempt to block any of the attacks from these deadly claws, before making a mad dash towards the enemy which only made it smile even wider as the corners nearly reached his ears, before meeting the mad dash with one of its own!

The A.U. was one of the Immortals sent by their emperor to claim this land and find their undead queen that was making her own army consisting of mutated undead that clashed with them a quite a number of times her army lost at first but they gradually adapted and ended up slaying a good number of them.

thus being separated from the Immortal army thanks to being thrown by a tank he was trying to repair his armor with the crude technology he had found in this storage room, but nothing seemed to work as the items here were too obsolete but the person he found had the required materials in his person the Nano suit that their sources provided information on something to ensure the safety of their Emperor!

So he wanted to have some fun as the snitch they had told them that the owner of the suit was an excellent fighter, making the A.U. think of their ArchNemesis that stained their honor, their name, their lives!

Spartans!

The A.U. tried facing the brave yet futile charge of the warrior but the man suddenly disappeared which made his eyes widen before he did a spinning swipe to protect himself, as blood trickled from the tip of one of his claws!

He cackled in his sadistic amusement before the sound of something dripping was like a thunderclap to his ears before he clawed at the direction he heard it from destroying the items and shelved in the area, before a loud bang rung loudly in his ear that was followed by a crack on his visor that forced his body to bend backward as the force of whatever hit him was very heavy before he reflexively swiped his claws in front of him hoping to hit the culprit of whatever that hit came from.

But hit nothing before the sound of clicking echoed The A.U. was starting to get angry thanks to this, He was an immortal!

not some helpless rabbit waiting to be hunted!

so he started swiping around him erratically as more of the surrounding was getting torn apart from his trusted claws before two shots were heard behind him hitting behind his knees making him kneel as sparks from the exoskeleton grew!

The dried veins on his face protruded from the amount of fury he was feeling, an immortal would only kneel to their GOD EMPEROR!

"RRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!"

The immortal was pissed to the point that he grabbed hold of the glowing gun on his side and activated another option of the gun one option was railgun the other was plasma spear!

the large gun compressed and elongated before both ends gained a glow before two scimitar-shaped blades made of plasma came out as the A.U. began spinning the newly changed weapon as he got back to his feet creating a small whirlwind clad in sparks within the area, shredding everything within the room to pieces!

His attack powered the area up for a while before short-circuiting every mechanical device that didn't have a fuse!

he maintained this for a good minute before stopping to check if his enemy was dead or not, as the whirlwind not only brought damage to anything within range but also blocked his sight, as the effects stopped once he was able to see his surroundings again a feeling of dread tingled his keen senses as he activated his last function on the weapon he had connecting it to his motor senses so that if he died the weapon would follow him turning it into scrap metal before the sound of bullets followed tearing into his shoulders before both of his arms fell to the ground!

the culprit appeared in front of him to which he attacked with a headbutt but his enemy suddenly expanded in size grabbing hold of his head as his helmet was breaking from the pressure, before the man he fought ripped off the helmet exposing his ghoulish face to the open air before another gun appeared in front of his face, as everything quickly turned dark upon hearing this.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Jack was the guy that would double tap almost all of his enemies given the chance and whenever he came across one that was too strong and possibly come back to bite him on the ass he'll triple-tap the bastard to leave nothing of the brain, he was excited to collect that powerful weapon from earlier but the response of the suit was disappointing it only allowed him to collect what it was made of which was a boon in its own right thanks to the new stuff he could do to his other guns now.

he collected the armor that upped his defenses by another 50 percent, a built-in hard drive that was another 1 petabyte, with the high-frequency claws!

as for the undead, he absorbed the effect was terrifying for the suit's viruses boosting its infectivity, lethality, and upgraded the boosts of all aspects of the virus by more than double as it turns out this undead was something that put together using body parts from all of the zombies that he had absorbed and more, thus the extreme boost in the virus, meaning should he absorb another he could get something else from some undead he hasn't absorbed yet!

But after all these goodies someone he was very familiar with decided to come crashing through the wall as this towering figure was looking down on him!

as for who it was? just wait he'll say it soon enough!
