46. Bloody Dragon

"Thank you Enzi!" I said to Enzi after he gave me Sala's clip hair. 

"You're welcome. Please return the cliphair to the little girl named Salamanca that you know after you use it..." said Enzi. 

"The hairpin accidentally fell and got stuck between my robes after I helped her at that time..." continued Enzi explaining how he came to have the pin. He also asked me to return the pin to replace it. 

"Um. Later, Cellia will return it to Sala!" 

"Thanks. But I didn't expect, you have time magic, little witch, oh I mean Cellia..." 

I smiled because Enzi really remembered me and my name. For some reason, that little thing makes me happy. Being remembered by someone and not being forgotten makes me feel that I am truly alive and in this world. 

"Then, you can do what you want to do. I will guard you so that you are not forcibly stopped by the human who wanted to seal your magic earlier... it seems he also has the ability to time magic and that is distortion magic. This is quite troublesome," said Enzi. 

How does he know that His Highness Yvone has time magic abilities too?. Enzi even knows the type of magic. Who is Enzi really?.

Enzi suddenly jumped up and away from me. And when I looked, a magic circle appeared where Enzi was standing earlier. It was like a complicated magic trap. I can tell from the arrangement of the runes. It was the Frux rune!. Is this trap the same as the trap that trapped me in the park before?. 

"Great. You can dodge that fast and feel the magic I cast from within the dimension I created. So, can you tell me who you really are and what business you have here?. You even tried to kidnap the Young Lady..." said someone behind me and I knew it was His Highness Yvone's voice. 

From what he said, that means this complicated magic trap was made by His Highness Yvone?!. Ah. No wonder he was also able to decipher the complicated ancient runes in the trap that trapped us at that time. 

How high is His Highness Yvone's magical levels abilities?. Enzi, who looked stronger than him, even said that His Highness could cause him trouble because of his magical abilities. 

"I didn't kidnap her. I protected she ..." said Enzi, denying His Highness Yvone's statement. He must have misunderstood Enzi!.

"I'm sure you know the side effects of using his time magic, right?" His Highness Yvone continued. Then their conversation started to get heavy so I couldn't take part in this conversation. Even though I intended to clear up this misunderstanding. 

"Yes. But that's not a problem. Losing age and spending it doing something is better than having a lot of age but regretting not doing anything.." 

His Highness fell silent after hearing Enzi's words which again sounded very wise. 

"You are right. Spending time and age doing something is better than letting time and age run out by doing nothing. But you also have to know that sometimes doing something and ending up wasting your time and age is also bad. It's better to live with what is happening now with your time and age..." said His Highness Yvone. 

"Are you talking about fate that can't be changed no matter how hard you try?" 

"I don't know..." 

"I see... you're just a coward" 

"Cowards huh. Well, that's not bad. It would be better for me to live as a coward than to repeat the same mistake of trying to change fate," said His Highness Yvone. He was still smiling, but for some reason this time I saw sadness and regret behind his expression. 

Does His Highness Yvone have bad memories because of time magic?. But what does that have to do with me?. Is he doing all this because he doesn't want me to feel what he feels?.

But, I want to use my magic to save Sala and my family and I definitely won't regret doing that even though my efforts might be in vain because I can't change the fate that has happened. But at least I tried and tried. Enzi's words were true. 

"Why are you blocking Cellia?. He just wanted to try to do something to save his family using his magic. There's no need to seal it. Besides, what is your relationship with Cellia that you have to bother sealing her magic?. You're not even a time keeper..." 

"There's only one thing I can tell you. It's all for Young Lady Cellia's own good and I'm trying for that," answered His Highness Yvone. 

"I won't let him use his magic again and it's best if outsiders and strangers like you don't have to interfere," said His Highness again. This time he looked at me seriously. His gaze was sharp. It seemed like His Highness Yvone was angry with me. He was even being protective of me now. 

Why does His Highness Yvone care about me so much and look after me so much?. Because I will be his fiancé in the future? Suddenly I felt like there were two daddy. 

"You are right. I don't want to interfere, but I can't ignore Cellia who is trying..." said Enzi. 

My body suddenly shifted. Somebody. Whether it's His Highness Yvone or Enzi. One of them seemed to have used teleport magic and moved me away from the area where they would be fighting. 

I saw, Enzi took out many magic circles and from inside the magic circles swords made of amethyst crystal came out and this seemed to surprise His Highness Yvone even though he didn't show an expression of surprise. 

His Highness Yvone was actually seen smiling faintly. It seems like he already has a plan that will give him a winning chance against Enzi. 

Ting! 

"Distortion magic huh?. It won't affect my attacks. I can release my ties with time..." said Enzi as soon as he realized that His Highness had activated his magic and suddenly I felt like I was in another dimension even though I was still seeing the same scene in my residence. 

"Don't worry. I only used it so that the Leonhart residence wouldn't be destroyed because of our fight..." explained His Highness Yvone before the two of them actually fought. This is the first time I have seen a fairly fierce battle using magic from a fairly close distance. 

In just a short time my residence in this artificial dimension was razed to the ground because of their fight. Well, at least I thank His Highness Yvone. Because of him, my original residence was not destroyed. 

Talking about my residence. I'm curious about one thing. 

"Why did Enzi find me so quickly?. Did he use magic to detect and search for my whereabouts?" 

Ah. I just remembered that previously Enzi asked about my family. Because Duke Leonhart and Leonhart's name are known to many people, of course it's easy for Enzi to find me, right?. 

Even so, Enzi's emergence was really very fast. Is he really in daddy's dukedom?. Or is he using teleportation magic abilities?.

I think they have been fighting for more than an hour and not one of them has fallen. Both are equally strong. Even so, His Highness Yvone looked more tired. His face turned pale and he seemed to be in pain. 

But on the other hand, Enzi looks fine. He even looked like someone who wasn't fighting. I even started to think that Enzi had actually been holding back the true power he had. He did not use his full strength against His Highness Yvone. 

Then both of them stopped attacking each other. 

"Looks like you've reached your limit..." said Enzi and this is the first time I've seen His Highness Yvone cornered like that. Has she run out of energy?. 

His Highness Yvone looked annoyed but what Enzi said seemed right. He couldn't do anything anymore. Even the magic circle he had just created immediately faded away. 

Uhuk! 

I was shocked by the next scene because His Highness Yvone suddenly coughed up blood. His face was getting paler and he seemed to be in pain, even though I didn't see His Highness Yvone being hit by Enzi's attack at all. He parried and reversed all the attacks perfectly so he wasn't hurt, but why does he look like he's sick now? What happened to him?!. 

"I've been curious ever since. "But it looks like my guess was right... you are the recipient of the cursed dragon's blessing," said Enzi and this time I didn't know what he was talking about. What does it mean to receive the cursed dragon's blessing?" 

"Shut up!" Said His Highness Yvone. He then took out his totem. 

A dark red dragon appeared. It was a large dragon and he was bound by a magic chain hovering around his neck. Even though the chain looked broken, it was still a chain that bound him through forced contract so that he becomes the totem of his contract owner. 

The size of the dragon was about the size of my house and I could say its size was smaller than the big black dragon that kidnapped my mommy at that time. 

"Bloody dragon!?" Enzi said. He looked very shocked. His face, which had previously looked calm, suddenly became dark with anger. 

"What did you do to him!. Let him go!" Enzi said with great pressure. 

"Why should I let it go?. He is my weapon and I will use it against you, lost dragon..." said His Highness Yvone. He wiped away the remaining blood around his mouth and suddenly seemed to be muttering something quickly. 

A huge magic circle came under Enzi suddenly and it was a magic circle that had three triangles in it! It was a form of absolute binding rune. The magic that His Highness Yvone uses is a type of forbidden magic that I have seen in books! 

"So you've been just stalling for time to trap me, huh..." said Enzi, who was no longer able to move. 

"Not completely wrong..." said His Highness Yvone then suddenly a very bright red light appeared covering Enzi and Enzi turned into a large dark red dragon which was twice the size of His Highness Yvone's totem. 

Wait a minute! 

What's going on here?!. 

Enzi is a dragon???!. 

So. Why is Enzi's dragon form similar to His Highness Yvone's totem? Are they both from the same species race?. Bloody dragon?
