Chapter 47: Another Typical Training Day

After that eventful day wherein Shun himself has almost sacrificed a lot just to win, he finally was able to recuperate a little as he stood up and headed straight at the Manor's backyard

From the moment he arrived he could see that somehow Sephiria was doing her best to learn from the anime she was watching

Just like any ordinary weeb out there, she tried to binge watch her current anime show called "fairytail" but was latter on reprimanded by her mother about a lady must always have her beauty sleep

One reason why he knows that she was trying her best to launch some standard average spells was because from time to time he could hear her trying to redo the spells from that particular show

"Flame Blade!!!"

"Fire dragon roar!!!"

"Flame wing slash!!!"

Due to the same affinity as the male lead in the anime, Sephiria herself tried to copy him

Of course she has a clear picture of its spell, but mostly her spells result were either flame thrower or fireball, mainly a reason for this because the Mana and magic in the anime was a ancient dragon Magic not some ordinary human magic

But nonetheless it was quite amusing on how she is trying to recreate those spells, it was like watching a child growing up

The moment he thought of that another explosion rung up as another tree fell down and burned by the accidental huge amount of Mana input in the spell

"Heeeeeh!!! I really need to teach her Mana manipulation" muttered Shun

Her imagination was already at an acceptable range, her only problem was her unstable Mana input on a spell, in regards to that too much Mana can create disaster, but too little Mana can create poor performance

Since she was somehow unable to picture those two different things, she was somehow backed into a corner

When Sephiria saw Shun, she immediately rushes up to him as she asked about his condition

"Hey! Are you okay now? Aren't you a bit exhausted on what you just did?" Asked Sephiria

"I am and I'm still at that stage, cause of that I can't move around too much for now, but that doesn't mean you can't too, so continue your training... . . I suggest try practicing you Mana manipulation" replied Shun

"Mana manipulation is harder than imagining a spells image" she complained

"Well it's not like all problems can be solved easily" stated Shun

After that he took a sit and probed Sephiria to sit beside him

As she did that Shun immediately told her

"Firstly try to gather the Mana into one specific location between your two hands... . . After that try to maintain it without causing it to explode, the longer you maintain it the better" he said

"Eeehhh!!! Are you serious?" She asked

"I'm serious! Deadly serious!"

"Ooohhh!!! Fine! I'll do what you just said since your injured and all" pouted Sephiria

"Sure! Sure! Loner princess!" Waved Shun

"Who are you calling loner?" Reacted Sephiria

"Well who else is here?" Pointed out Shun

After hearing that Sephiria soon showed a snicker as if she is planning something mischievous

"Your gonna regret teasing me"

At that she started to gather Mana between her two palms and concentrating on it

Due to that Shun was able to see specks of tiny light ripples in the air which he in turn deducted as Mana, accordingly he saw that this little specks of Mana was starting to gather on one spot like how gravity works

This time Shun was somehow surprised to see how fast Sephiria could do what he just requested, if not for her deficiency of having excessive Mana core inside her body she would be instead be a genius mage this time around

At first he thought that what made her go wrong and fail on magic was because of her lack of imagination and manipulation was the main problem

But after researching for history records and learning her background, Shun found out that she has a really excessive Mana inside her Mana core

Too much Mana from someone could lead to fail in manipulating magic, which I turn may result to accidents

Just as how people such as prodigy can have a huge Mana core to accommodate huge Mana inside their body, people should also have the same Mana core like their Mana output to create a harmonious Mana flow inside ones body

In this world a person having a large Mana core means that he is a strong mage, and such mages are either called sorcerer, sage, prodigy, genius, and the most proficient of all a Hero

Just like any other genre the status hero is bestowed upon a person which has the most Mana pool and has the biggest Mana core to accommodate huge Mana inside his body

Surely during his travel he haven't even heard one bit about the hero nor a demon king like from your typical isekai trope

As he think about it, his situation was more like other isekai trope that doesn't involve demon Lord, for example are konusuba, grimgar, re:zero, and etc.

During his train of thought and deep thinking however, Sephiria started her mischief as she held out her palm towards Shun and started to excessively gather Mana Infront of his face with a charming grin that could attract anyone, except not for this current situation where her grin was coupled with the unstable Mana orb right infront of his face

"Oi! Oi! This! Stop Seph... . . "

But before he could finish what he said and reprimand Sephiria, the Mana orb in her palm suddenly exploded that caused all the front hair of Shun to suddenly shot upwards as dirt soothe smuttered on his face

After coughing he somehow glared at her for her mischief

"You better start explaining or else I'm gonna kill you!!!" He shouted

Just as quickly she showed her mischief, she also quickly took out a handkerchief from the pocket of her skirt and wiped the soothe off of his face

Thankfully Shun was still recuperating from his injury thus he couldn't move his hand yet due to it's major injury and broken limb

As he continued to glare at her and attempted to brush her away, Sephiria however took his pouting as something adorable as she pulled Shun in arms reach and hugged him around his neck which would be mistaken as something like an intimate relationship

"There! There! You look like an angry child like that!"

"You little!!! Just you wait when I recover!"

"What? I'm already hugging you to soothe your anger, I thought every men wants to be hugged by a woman?" Asked Sephiria

"Of course I want too, just not you! You actually dare to use that and blow it up to my face!!! Right! You've gone too far!" Argued Shun

"Right! There! There! I'm already attractive I'm pretty sure your attracted to me after this!!!" Teased Sephiria

"Who would get attracted to you? Only an idiot could get attracted to you!!!" Howled Shun

I return to that Sephiria only smiled and laughed at the same time causing a merry atmosphere

From inside the mansion the Duke himself was gaping his mouth in shock as he saw her daughter taking the initiative to hug Shun even thought she is already at a marriageable age

Her mother however was quite intrigue by this development as if she was watching a play of a romcom show

"Oh my! I never thought our daughter was that bold! I thought she said that they were only friends... . . I never thought friends hugged each other" her mother Cecile exclaimed

"Well boys do hug each other in manly way, but that is only in the case of the same gender! Not the opposite gender!" Growled Duke Alan

"Well maybe she doesn't know? After all Shun is her very first sincere friend which doesn't criticize her because of her somewhat unique circumstances" she stated

"Circumstances? I'm surprised your not calling it a deficiency anymore" said fuel Alan in Surprise

"Well mister Shun did say that her condition can be fixed by proper learning and training, so doesn't that make her also normal?" She pointed out

"I see... . . "

"Not only did he protected your territory by risking his safety and sacrificing his summon just to win, he also is trying to make our daughter a proper mage that has no flaw, isn't that already apparent after spending time with him for a week?" She asked

"Well he did have done a lot" replied Duke Alan

"Then you better reward that will satisfy not only him but also our daughter who is indebted to him" she advised

"Understood, In fact I have a perfect idea on what to reward him that will make not only him but also our daughter happy"
