Chapter 299: The Battle Junkie

[Island, Underground Area]

Unknown to many of the students above surface ground, the deep underground area of the island is slowly becoming a battlefield as Sephiria is forced to fight against Lorius in orderto reach the only teleporting magic circle to exit this place. If she wants to get out of this place, she needed to take care of Lorius all by herself.

"Ice Lance!!!"

"Giga Blaze!!!"

Without a single ounce of hesitation, both Sephiria and Lorius, released their own respective initial spell simultaneously, causing a huge explosion to erupt as fire and ice spread towards the surroundings.

After that initial cast, Lorius quickly crouched down on the ground as he used his blinking spell, to teleport himself behind Sephiria.

"Blink!!!"

However Sephiria took notice of this instantaneous spell, causing her to spread out her mana sense to the surrounding and locate Lorius behind her. The moment she found his location, she then quickly jump forward, as she turned around mid air and raised a wall behind her, just in time for her to block Lorius attacks.

"Ice Wall!!!"

"Boulder!!!"

The moment Lorius spell was blocked by the Ice, Sephiria then quickly followed up with another spell that begun raining down attacks towards Lorius.

"Hail Storm!!!"

In response to the falling Ice from above that came in like a rain, Lorius then covered his whole body with mana, as he charged forward while activating a type of spell which would enhance his body performance, a martial spell.

"Accel!!!"

The moment Lorius casted that spell unto himself, he suddenly gained an immense speed which made him dodge multiple attacks from above, as he makes a roundabout way towards Sephiria while amping up his speed.

"Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!!"

Due to this Lorius speed became so fast, that he almost appear like a blur of light, as he make a huge roundabout way towards Sephiria. Avoiding all the spells she casted while amping up his speed even more, he then finally arrived before her in a blink of an eye, shocking the person herself.

"Boost!!!"

Using another martial spell on his fist, Lorius launched out a fist towards Sephiria, causing her to be blown back by the attack and crash across the walls quite far from Lorius himself.

"Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!!"

However even though Sephiria crashed to the wall which almost made her pass out, Lorius himself continued his onslaught as he repeated the usage of his martial spell to get close Sephiria, as he dragged her across the wall, before throwing her across the floor as brutally as possible.

Due to this Sephiria had a hard time catching Lorius speed, as she gasp for air, while feeling the pain coursing throughout her body. In fact she was going to lose, unless she pulls out her ancient spell which will transform herself into an absolute ruler of ice, she would not be able to stand a chance against Lorius, especially this is the very same person that even Shun and Akito were wary about.

But first she needed time to cast her ancient spell.

"Cyroform!!! Ice golem(10x)!!!"

Turning the whole floor into his ice using a type of terraform magic and summoning 10 ice golem with varying sizes to stall time, Sephiria then poi Ted her finger at Loriusas she commanded her summons to attack k the person himself.

"Attack him"

Without a ment waste, the golem came rushing forward towards Lorius, as the person himself smiled happily in this situationand begun his spree of destruction.

"Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!! Giga Blaze!!! Boost!!! Boost!!! Accel!!! Slicer!!!"

While Lorius was fully occupied by the golems, Sephiria begun to cast her ancient spell while thinking of a way to win this situation.

Not long after in about 1 minute, Lorius manage to destroy all of Sephiria's golems, as he quickly dashed towards Sephiria and try to launch an attack k towards her with his own might.

"Accel!!! Strengthening!!! Increase durability!!! Boost!!!"

However before Lorius could even land his attack, a sudden burst of light enveloped Sephiria as ice begun attacking Lorius and own him back quite a few feet away from Sephiria. Upon seeing this, Lorius couldn't help  but smile even more as herealized that Sephiria had used her ancient magic to amped up her power.

"Throne of the Ice Empress!!!"

The moment she appeared like a true ruler of ice, an immense pressure drowned the whole area as Lorius be ame even more excited as he really wanted to fight Sephiria in such form. After all its already been quite awhile since he felt this sense of dangerfrom another person and as a battle junkie, he couldn't afford to miss on fighting such formidable enemy.

"Finally! Let's do this!!!"

Without a single shred of fear, Lorius charged towards Sephiria once more, as he boosted his speed inorderto get closets her as fast as he can.

"Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!! Accel!!!"

Unfortunately the moment Lorius casted that spell once more on himself, Sephiria simply looked towards him, as she can finally follow his movement while casting a spell of her own.

The moment Lorius got close to her with a distance that is reachable for a simply blow, Sephiria herself then released the spell which made the ice around her mana barrier to suddenly attack anything that is close within her proximity.

"Ice Age!!!"

In just a matter of seconds, ice begun assaulting the whole surroundings, forcing Lorius to pull back his attack and approach her from a different angle.

In that moment just as the ice was about to catch him, he suddenly used his instantaneous spell to dodge Sephiria's magic and appear above her and is ready to launch an attack.

"Drilling Whirlwind!!!"

The moment Lorius threw that attack at her, Sephiria simply looked above her as casted a spell which protected her fromthe attack coming from above.

"Frost Guard!!!"

The moment both spell clashed, a huge shockwave vibrated throughout the surroundings as Lorius attack failed to pass through Sephiria's defensive, making the person himself even more excited as he begun throwing more attacks at her.

"Thunder Crack!!! Volcanic Spear!!! Violent Wind!!!"

As one explosion after another landed on Sephiria, her frost guard still held on as it squarely protected her from any harm and leave her unharmed and unscathed by the attack.

"The heck is that defensive capability!!!"

In this moment Lorius was shocked by the durability of Sephirias defensive spell that it even made Lorius become amazed by the magic itself. However before he could hide his amazement, he was once again shocked by the following event, as Sephiria used his own spell against him to catch him off guard.

"Accel!!!"

In just a second, Sephiria appeared behind Lorius, as she launched her attack which caused an explosion which caught Lorius off guard.
