Chapter 106: Summoning Magic

As the series of explosions happens on the far side of the other area, Shun on the other hand had gone away and break off from Rosalyn's location and went to a near cliff as he observe the situation from afar

"Escaping team? Is there really such a thing? Aren't they going to Duke it out tonight?" Asked Yuumi as she yawned beside Shun

"Unlikely! It's the first day, they need to survive... So in other words some may be es along while atleast one of them sacrifices himself to divert the enemy's attention... Basic military cliche event" said Shun

"So the bait tactic?" Asks Yuumi

"I don't know... I never really knew the name" replied Shun as he stretched his body

As Shun and Yuumi were conversing, the screen for a moment focused on both Shun and Yuumi sitting at the edge of a cliff, the audience on the other hand wanted to see whether something would happen to them

But after minutes passed without anything happen, the camera focus suddenly shifted towards the area where the fight was going intense

"Looks like Shun is playing security" said Wendy

"Playing security?" Ask Cedric

"Well isn't he look like one, especially how he extend his scope of protection on the group by summoning stealthy champions?" Ask Wendy again as she glanced at Cedric

"Indeed... In survival numbers are really important for security, but sometimes also a problem especially for frustrated people, soon after loyalty will be questioned as they soon kill each other off based on what they dislike... Meaning..."

But before Cedric could say his last words, Wendy on the other hand finishes it

Opening it's squinted eyes Yuumi then whispered to Shun

"Do you sense it?"

"Of course I sensed it, someone is planning on ambushing me from behind" replied Shun

"Well this will be entertaining"

Far from behind Shun, a student from Elludkal Academy "Cale Berothom" was sneaking from behind as he rekindled flames around his wrist aiming to eliminate Shun

But at this moment Shun started flipping the book at his ambushers out of view

With a thought Cale immediately raises his hand towards Shun as he instant cast his magic

"Superior flames!"

Like a surging wave, the fire then started to creep up from behind Shun as summons his champion to fight and preserve his stamina

"Summon!"

As the fire crept up towards Shun by a few meters, a smile suddenly appeared on Cale's face in d light as he expected to eliminate Shun this instant

But at the next moment his smile froze as a silhoutte suddenly interjected between the flames and swept his sword along the ground to create a huge wall of wind

"Face the wind!"

With that a surging wind and the surging fire collided agaisnt each other as they contradict and reject each other's existence

"What!?!" Reacted Cale as the person in a samurai wanderer outfit appeared behind Shun before sheathing his blade and after dispersing the fire

Slowly turning around Shun could clearly see the attacker was quite stunned as Yasuo block his attack

Not giving in Cale then started to cast once more various attack

"Earthen bullet! Fire!"

At this sight Yasuo then came before shun and moved swiftly as he slashed down every bullet that came their way with just a sword

At this moment Shun was starting to summon another champion for battle as he picked from his book, but after sensing another champion is rushing to his location, he suddenly seized the idea Ashe closed the book and let Yasuo stall for time

Clicking his sword air swept around Yasuo as he shot off a violent wind towards Cale!

"Hasagi!"

As Yasuo used "Steel Tempest" a tornado shot off as it was lunched towards Cale

In a hurry Cale snapped his fingers as a water Barrier appeared out of nowhere and blocked Yasuo's attack

After successfully blocking it he immediately condensed the water into his palm and created a water spear and viciously threw it towards Yasuo

Seeing a huge attack Yasuo took a few steps forward and drew his blade as he used "Steel Tempest" once more as forced the attack to divert it's route by a few meters away

With force Yasuo succeeded in diverting the thrown spear, but Cale foresaw it failing this threw another spear towards Shun

He doesn't know the reason need for it, but the felt that he need to eliminate Shun first before eliminating the samurai wanderer guy

But of course Shun wouldn't just sit there and wait for him to be eliminated, thus he immediately condensed a Statik Shiv on his right hand and parried the spear with ease cause of it's strength causing the explosion to rung out and quickly awakening anyone that is sleeping inside the forest area

Sensing that everyone was alerted, even Shun felt great threat if he ever face against five of them, thus pulling out I.E he then became serious in eliminating Cale

"Yasuo! Switch cover!" Ordered Shun

At that instant both Shun and Yasuo dashed towards Cale in accordance to eliminate him

Sensing danger Cale immediately used wind magic to shot him off towards the sky as Yuumi raises her hand and fired off her spells

"Prowling Projectile!"

Soon after numerous projectile was shot out towards cake and followed him no matter how he sway like an annoying mouse

"What is this magic? I can't shake it off!" Exclaimed Cale as he tried every maneuver to shake off Yuumi's spell

"Damn it!!!!"

Firing various elemental shots ranging from water bullet earthen bullet and fire bullet, Cale immediately shot such bullets towards Yuumi's spell creating a bigger commotion

At this moment Shun activated his Summoner spell to further enhanced his speed

"Ghost!"

At an instant Shun's speed greatly enhanced as he moved like a shadow between the trees thus leaving Yasuo behind

Doing a beeline climb on the trees, Shun suddenly appeared behind Cale as he smacked the side of his Shiv towards cakes face and bringing him to ground level

With a crash Cale was then grounded by Shun as Yasuo immediately rushed in

"Sweeping blade!"

Clicking his sword, Yasuo immediately aimed for Cale's neck as he slashed out his sword

But realizing that danger was upon him, Cale immediately pulled out his own sword from his storage and said

"Don't underestimate me!"

As a noble Cale was obviously taught from both magic and sword fight in such a highly proficient way in which it could even win him in a real battle in the battlefield

Obviously Cale doesn't want to be eliminated since even his family was watching this, thus with heads held high he faced his opponent even thought they were advantageous in numbers

Slashing out his sword Cale actually or unintentionally parried Yasuo's attack as they distanced to each other

But Shun wasn't letting him get any rest as he falls from the sky and slashed out both I.E and Shiv straight down towards him as gravity assisted his force

As a experienced fighter Cale immediately held his sword upwards to block Shun, when suddenly the force that Shun released in this attack was so great that it even forced him to kneel in one leg just to support the weight

At this moment he realized how much in a predicament he was after realizing that gravity assisted his force

From this slight opening Yasuo came in as he used his ability

"Steel Tempest!"

Seeing this Cale immediately tilted hi head while pushing Shun away, just in time to dodge Yasuo's sword and use magic to push him away

With a blast Yasuo was blown off as a barrier seemed to have taken the damage for him

"Way of the wanderer is gone" said Yuumi as she saw a circular barrier around Yasuo broke into pieces

"It's fine!" Assured Shun

Raising his hand up to the sky, air flow gathered as fire, water, earth, and wind gather into one energy on the center of the vortex Cale created

"Yasuo! Let eliminate him!" Ordered Shun

"Understood! I'll lead the way!" Replied Yasuo as he dashed ahead and avoided the air strikes from Cale or blocking them

Following closely from behind, Shun immediately stored his both shiv and I.E away as he pulled out Youmuu's GhostBlade to further enhanced his speed

But nevertheless Cale kept his sight on him as he sent even more wind blades towards Shun

Face with this Shun immediately used another ability at the same moment that Yasuo used them

"Face the wind!"

"Wind wall!"

As two air currents blocked those strike both Shun and Yasuo decided to use this chance to attack Cale from afar

But soon after Shun stopped on his tracks when he suddenly felt something was off from the plasma ball on Cale's hand as various elements converged into one

Seeing this he immediately called out for Yasuo to stop his tracks

"Yasuo! Retreat!"

As Shun yelled those words Cale smiled as he instantly slammed the plasma ball on the ground before him as hard as he can this creating friction which was followed by a blinding explosion which engulfed Yasuo and even somehow reached Shun

Like a tactical mini compressed nuke everything from 40km radius from Cale was turned into nothing as everything got engulfed by th bright and dangerous explosion which was energized by the world's elements

Due to that Shun was then blown away as he got majorly damaged from the blast as he crashed from a tree then to another and another as he stopped at the fourth tree that finally stopped the momentum

As he fall on the ground quite injured, Yuumi on the other hand that was still safe as Shun received all the damage, immediately healed him continouesly in a visible speed

On the crater Cale was the only person on that spot as Yasuo turned back into particles and went back to the book after being eliminated by the blast

Seeing shun from afar he then dashed ahead with an aim to eliminate Shun

Of course Shun noticed this as he contemplated to either play dead or just shoot him off by using Aurelion Sol's ult

As he thought of this Cale slowly hovered above the ground and slowly approached him

And just as he stepped into the ground however, Cale suddenly felt something squishy beneath his feet

When he looked into it he suddenly found that he was stepping on a mushroom

Seeing the shroom Shun laughed internally when he saw this and said

"That little devil really lived up to his name"

In the next instant a huge poisonous explosion rung out which immediately eliminated Cale who didn't expect such a trap

"Captain Teemo on duty!"
