Prologue

Year 2050

In the jungles of Africa, there is an old house. At one point of time it was a hunting cabin used by some European colonizer. After they went away it was abandoned. But that's only on the surface. Beneath the surface lies the headquarters of the world's largest and most dangerous crime syndicate Black Death. Known for their extreme terror activities, drug smuggling , human trafficking, cyber attacks, etc. it has become an international terrorist organization and number one enemy of the United Nations and all the countries over the world.

Inside a dark and humid room which looks like a torture chamber, a man in the early 40s could be seen tied to a chair and face covered. His whole body could be seen covered with scars and bruises.

A man came inside the room with a group of bodyguards. He is none other than the head of the organization Robert Wildheard. The most wanted man in the world even more than Os*ma B*n La*en. He is notorious for bombing the tallest building in the world, serial blasts in India, China, Japan, Russia, United States, Europe, Brazil, etc. His greatest achievement was that he single handedly made the whole world united to fight against him.

Signaling one of his men to remove the cloth cover, he splashed some water on the face of the young man to wake him up. As the man woke up, Robert smirked.

"Well well who do we have here. Dr. Rajveer Gupta!! The most brilliant scientist and researcher of all time. The youngest Nobel Prize winner. Master of almost all fields in existence. Who would have thought that such a genius person would look like this." Moving his face closer added, "Like a pathetic bitch that you are. "

Rajveer glared at him. If looks could kill then Robert would have died a hundred times. Rajveer still remembers that day vividly. He was sitting in his house with his parents chatting happily. Suddenly a group of people broke into his house killed his parents in front of him and knocked him down and kidnapped him here.

Robert looking at him laughed and said, "I like your eyes. It was not something I expected from scholarly person such as you. I thought that I would see some weak willed, cowardly and fearful eyes. But here we are you have exceeded my expectations."

Robert suddenly punched him in the face and Rajveer fell backwards blood coming from his nose. The bodyguards came forward and put him back to his place.

Robert took out a handkerchief, and while wiping the hand which punched Rajveer he spoke out, " Let's get to the point. I want you to make an A. I. It should be capable enough to hack any system in the world, has the knowledge of everything and is able to modify and evovle itself. And so that it doesn't go rogue, only I should be able to control it and only should able to transfer its authority to someone else. And because I am so generous I am giving you a time limit of 60 days."

Rajveer staring at Robert's eyes after sometime opened his mouth and asked, " And what happens if I don't listen to your order? "

Robert pondering for a while replied, " Good question. If you don't listen to me or delay the project for a single second you see fireworks in your nation. Tens of thousands of suicide bombers would shake every major cities in India killing millions, shooters would rain bullets on the people and bridges and buildings would collapse due to bomb blasts. This is would all happen at exact same time."

Rajveer although looked indifferent his eyes shooked and quietly asked, " And why do you expect that I would care if some million people died? "

"Oh come on. We all know how much you love your country. All the things that you have done, or achieved was dedicated towards the nation. And you want me to believe that you won't be rattled if millions of people died because of you? See your face in the mirror. It is face which is feeling fear. So think wisely and answer. I will give you time." A man came inside the room with a chair and positioned it behind Robert and he sat down staring at Rajveer.

After what felt like eternity Rajveer spoke out, " Okay I will do the job but on the condition that you won't do anything to the citizens of India or any other nations."

Robert smiled. " You have truly made the wise decision. I promise you that will not harm a single hair of the citizens. You shall start the project from tomorrow. Anything you need for the project will be provided by us if you say it even if is difficult to obtain such as uranium. Take a rest today and prepare your mind. Ron prepare a room for him and give him good food. This is Ron and from now on you will give your orders required for the project to him. He will provide you with all the materials required."

Saying this Robert left with his men. After sometime a man came untied him and took him to a room and told him to freshen up and food was ready. After two weeks he bathed and had some some warm meal. As Rajveer lied on the bed, he closed his eyes and steeled his mind for what he is about to do.

60 days later

In a room which looked like an laboratory straight out of sci-fi, Rajveer stood in front of a large screen with numerous keys and levers. Behind him stood Robert with a number of black suited men with guns.

"To be honest, Rajveer I thought that you would never be able to complete it in given time as you never contacted in last 60 days. I was about to give orders to my men get ready to have some fun that you contacted me that the project was complete." Robert laughed as spoke.

"I never broke my promise neither do I ever fail to reach my deadline." Rajveer quietly said.

"So, what are it's functions?"

"This A. I. codenamed Lucifer is the most advanced computer programme to have ever been created. It has been programmed through an entirely new computer language. It's brain is made up of quantum computer which is powered by a fusion reactor. Lucifer could hack any system in the world through the most precise, efficient and covert manner. It has the ability to evolve and adapt itself to any environment." Handling a smart watch to Robert he continued, "Through this watch you have the complete control over Lucifer. This watch also has a defense mechanism that discourages anyone having access to it or harm you. As soon as you put on the watch the system would automatically configure and you would become the master of the A. I. "

As he listened to Rajveer's explanation he started to get excited. After he finished his explanation Robert wore the watch walked towards Rajveer and hugged him.

"Well done my brother. You have truly exceeded my expectations. You are truly worthy of being called humankind history's greatest genius."

Bang

Robert suddenly pulled out a gun from his jacket and shot him at his stomach.he ordered his men, " Tell the minions to get ready to attack at exact 12pm. "

Rajveer sat down on the floor holding his bloodied stomach.

"Why? You promised to not do anything to the people."

"You see at first I thought that of respecting the end of the deal. But after I saw what you have created I realized that keeping you alive is far more dangerous. So here we are. And as I going to kill you why not go with a bang and kill those people who so dear to you. You die while having fear and regret." Saying this he started to laugh.

After laughing for some seconds he asked the A. I., "Lucifer. You there?"

"Yes master. What can I do for you?" Answered a mechanical male voice.

"Good. I want you to hack every nuclear systems in this world and take them under your control."

After 10 seconds, " Done master. I have hacked every nuclear silos of the world. "

Astonished Robert asked, "That's fast."

"I am the most advanced A. I. This kind of speed is to be expected."

"Now then, put on hold. Launch every nuclear missile at all the most populous cities."

"That's not possible. The countdown for the antimatter bomb has already started and will detonate at exact 200.79 seconds in this location. All exits are being closed. "

"What!? What the hell are you saying!? Why are you detonating a damn bomb here? Is there something wrong with your brain?" He shouted out. For the first time in years Robert felt fear. The fear of death.

"There is nothing wrong with my system. This is how I was programmed. To do this when the order like the previous one given to me by the master."

" Ha ha ha ha. "

Rajveer started to laugh loudly.

"Why are you laughing bastard? What have you done!? Why did you lie to me?"

Holding his stomach with his left hand Rajveer weakly said, " No I didn't lie to you. Unlike you I never lie. I have made a genuine A. I. just like you have wanted. But there was a catch. I could never believe a damn terrorist like you. So I have made the A. I. such a way that if any order which would be against the humanity, it would take matter into it's hand destroy the whole of this terrorist organization. So in that 10 seconds it did hack the nuclear systems but after that we all know what happened. And don't even try to call your bomber squad. Every connection to outside world has been cut off. Lucifer hacked their phones even if it happen to be a burner one. Their location have been sent to the government and the hunt have already started. Every member of all the terrorist organization of the world including yours have been disclosed to the world governments."

"Damn you. You bastard!! " Robert yelled out. Just as he about to shoot the bullets on Rajveer, Lucifer started the countdown of death.

"The bomb will detonate in 10.. 9.. 8.. "

Rajveer smiled and said, " Happy Diwali. Hope you enjoy the fireworks. "

He closed his eyes as he is about to embrace death see his parents in afterlife.

"3.. 2.. 1"

"NOOO... " Robert couldn't finish his last sentence and the bomb detonated.

As Rajveer died he died as a hero. As government disclosed his contribution he would be immortalized forever by humans as the person who eradicated every terrorist organization.

But Rajveer's story has not ended. It seems destiny has planned something else for him. Because there is always a beginning after the end.
