The Southern Water Tribe

Zuko's POV, when Aang first broke free and a beam of light was released into the sky.

About fifty miles away from the iceberg, a Fire Nation ship was sailing searching for the long-lost Avatar led by Prince Zuko, a Fire Nation prince with a burn scar on his left his eye.

"Uncle over there, do you know what this means", he asked anxiously to Uncle Iroh.

"Does this mean I won't finish my game?" he asked while playing his card game.

"NO!" he screamed.

"It means my search for the Avatar is finally over."

He pointed towards the light that suddenly disappeared.

"I finally found him", he said to himself.

"OR, it could just be a celestial light that we encountered a while back", the uncle said logically.

"Please Zuko, sit down. Have some tea with me", he told his nephew.

Zuko turned around with a fit of anger look on his face.

"I DON'T want any tea. I WANT the AVATAR. Helmsman, take our destination towards that beam of light", Zuko demanded the soldier.

The soldier saluted at him and left Zuko and General Iroh. Iroh felt that something wasn't right; he put his card with the symbol of Air.

Back to Team Avatar, Noru and Yuki.

Noru and Yuki packed all the supplies they needed before they left. They could fit it all in a small suitcase Noru was carrying due to him connecting the suitcase with his subspace. After a long walk, they had finally arrived at the southern water tribe. Katara and Sokka gathered the tribe to introduce them to Aang, Noru and Yuki.

"Village meet Aang, Noru and Yuki. Yuki, Noru and Aang meet the village." said Katara. The villagers looked at Aang, Noru and Yuki in shock. "What do we have something on our faces, why are you staring so intensely?" asked Aang. "We thought all the air nomads went extinct a long time ago. As for you both, what sort of clothing are you wearing and what is that silver box?" responded Gran-Gran.

"Extinct? what does that mean?" asked Aang. No one in the villagers responded not wanting to break the sad news to Aang. "This clothing is from a small province so you wouldn't know about it. As for the silver box it is a suitcase, a box used to store essentials such as food and water" responded Noru.

Time-skip a couple of hours later

Katara and Aang went to go penguin sledding, meanwhile Sokka introduced Noru and Yuki to his 'army' and 'village defence system'. "Sokka, your army are children, and your watchtowers are made of snow." said Noru. "They're not children they're warriors and the defence towers may be fragile, but they can deal a lot of damage to firebenders with snow. Besides, I would like to see a girl do better." said Sokka.

Yuki activated her full power and gave Sokka the glare. Noru felt bad for him, that death glare was stronger than any attack. Needless to say, Sokka was educated by Yuki and changed his worldviews real fast after some physical intervention. "You people don't know me! I'm the only man in the village, apart from me the village consists of old people who can't fight, children who can't fight and Katara who most certainly cannot fight. I'm working with all I've got so unless you have a better idea leave the villages defence to me." Sokka said, slightly breaking down and revealing his true struggles.

"Sokka relax... calm down" Noru said trying to deescalate the situation. Before, the situation got too bad Sokka, Noru and Yuki saw a flash bang coming from where Aang and Katara were. They all quickly rushed to the village centre where they found Aang and Katara. "You both were trying to signal the fire nation with that flare from that old fire navy ship weren't you." said Sokka. "Katara didn't do anything, it was me, I triggered the flare." said Aang. "So, the traitor finally reveals himself. For the safety of the village, I have no choice but to banish you. Leave this village and never return." said Sokka.

"If Aang is going, I'm leaving as well." said Katara. "Katara, you would really choose this stranger you just met over me, your own brother." said Sokka in a sad tone. Katara was in a dilemma. Should she go with Aang, to learn how to master waterbending or stay with Sokka, to help her tribe. Taking her silence as yes, Sokka said "Fine then, I'll kick both of you out this village myself if I have to." as he drew his spear. It was clear that he was not in his right state of mind and being overly emotional.

Before Sokka could harm anyone Noru knocked Sokka out by hitting him on the head. Since, technically what he did was considered a crime, he was detained in the villages prison. Not that the prison could hold him if he wanted to leave, he could have. He however, wanted to stay in the village for a while so he didn't resist and stayed in the prison.

Time skip a couple of hours later.

"WHERE IS HE?" Zuko angrily yelled.

Sokka was already frustrated since Zuko keeps counterattacking his attacks. Sokka tried to charge at him with his spear, but it failed like every other of his attacks. But then suddenly Sokka's

boomerang came back, spin Zuko's helmet around. Zuko start to turn his helmet in its original position and then stared angrily at Sokka. It wasn't long till they heard yelling, it was Aang riding on

a penguin. Aang started to ram the penguin towards Zuko, making him Aang flip over. The kids started to cheer but stopped when the snow piled over them when Aang passed by. But they still cheered since Aang had made an entrance. Aang got off of his penguin and went up to his two new friends.

"Hey guys", he said.

"Nice to see you again, Aang", Sokka said moodily. Ever since he had embarrassed himself, he stayed inside his room and never came out. Meanwhile, Noru was talking to Yuki in prison. When he and Yuki detected the presence of Zuko, Yuki went to check on the situation while Noru stayed inside the jail cell ready to attack if necessary.

"Wait a minute", he said, "You're the last airbender? You're the Avatar?"

Katara and Sokka were shocked by this information. Yuki was confused as she didn't know what an Avatar was. Yuki then headed to the prison to inform Noru of the invasion.

"I have been training for all my life for this, you're just a kid!" Zuko said.

"Well, you're just a teenager", Aang replied.

Zuko then starting to launch fire at Aang, but Aang deflected all the fire with his staff. Zuko started to notice that the strange kid with the Avatar trying to protect the villagers from the

firebenders with a half-broken spear. Then Zuko got an awful idea.

"Soldiers. attack tha..." he commanded before being interrupted by a cleave to the neck that Zuko quickly dodged.

"Who... who dares attack me?" he questioned.

The man in front of him was wielding a sword the size of a human. Armor that looked like it was made from the bones of a dark dragon started forming around the man's body. The man turned around and spoke "Noru... I am Noru." as Zuko was focused on Noru he did not notice the multiple magic spells heading towards him. Flaming rocks, Icicles cold enough to freeze him to death and boiling water balls were heading towards him all blown faster at him with air.

Zuko, at the last second noticed the attacks and dodged out of the way. However, he had taken his attention of Noru, who had charged up a dark slash strong enough to split the ship behind him and onto Yuki who was releasing a flurry of projectiles. Realising this and thinking fast, Zuko ran into the crowd of villagers watching the battle and held one of the kids at fire point.

"If you don't cease fire immediately, I will blow this kid's brains out." said Zuko.

Conceding to defeat, Aang, Yuki and Noru were all taken inside of the ship that then closed and went onto the seas. Watching this from afar, Iroh couldn't help but feel disappointed in Zuko who he saw as a son. Doing something as dishonourable as threatening to kill a child was a low, he never expected Zuko to fall into. This hit especially hard for Iroh as after the death of Lu Ten, Iroh knew how it felt to lose a child in conflict.

That's it for chapter 3. No chapter tomorrow so two chapters today. P.S - This story will be noharem because I don't like stories with a harem. Also, I've been thinking on changing cannon and skipping certain arcs to get to the most exciting parts of the story. Do you think that:

1)I should not skip any arc and cover the whole story

or

2)I should skip arcs so that I can focus the best parts of the story

Comment which one you want, oh and word count - 1540 words.
