A human was walking in the forest, when a normal Goblin suddenly appeared a few meters away from him.

The scene was a fairly common one in the sea of ​​trees, unsuspecting individuals walking around ignoring everything, only to die pathetically.

But unlike all normal humans, Gabriel dodged the attack mere inches from hitting it and countered with his spear, piercing the creature's body with ease and killing it in the process. This happened so fast that it was even surprising.

Normally, one would drop their guard after that.

But he quickly withdrew his spear from the Goblin's body and swung it to the side, deflecting the blow of a rock that was going to hit him.

More Goblins came out of the forest and quickly surrounded him.

There were a total of seven normal Goblins, all equipped with copper weaponry, nothing too flashy, but considering both their numbers and equipment and the surprising lineup for mere monsters, it was enough to kill not very strong humans.

But to the person in front of them, it was merely a minor nuisance.

He hurled his spear towards one of the stronger Goblins and close range with one of the weaker Goblins.

The strong goblin dodged the attack with ease and shouted for his companions to kill the unarmed human.

The weak goblin smiled as if he had already won upon seeing the poor unarmed human running towards him, but before he understood what had happened, a colorless light surged from the man's hand before he swung his hand as if attacking.

The Goblin fell to the ground with his blood staining the floor.

Before his companions could understand what had happened, several colorless figures began to emerge around the human's body.

Without even hesitating, he and the mysterious translucent creatures pounced on the surviving Goblins.

The mysterious translucent creatures came in front of the Goblins with extreme speed.

One of them slashed at one of the goblins with his sword, he dodged but couldn't move fast enough to also dodge the kick that came as a follow up blow. The Goblin would be sent flying and crash into the tree, letting out a cry of pain that would be quickly stopped by a sword slashing down from the bottom of his mouth, filling this with blood and killing the Goblin over time.

The translucent creature had no emotions and did not feel sorry for the unpleasant death he had caused, he just continued with his job of hunting down all these insignificant creatures.

Quickly, all the Goblins dropped like flies.

Once the last Goblin fell, the translucent figures quickly turned into particles of light and disappeared.

The man sighed as he wiped away his sweat.

It was then that a humanoid figure similar to the dead Goblins appeared next to him.

"Master, here" He said as he brought a canteen of water to him.

"Thank you, Chloe" He said gratefully as he took the simple canteen of water.

Chloe as quickly as she appeared, she was gone. Leaving Gabriel alone again.

Gabriel was not surprised by this, since he himself had ordered that he be left alone as much as possible.

This is because if he wanted to level up effectively, he had to do it by himself or by using his attributes. Since the amount of experience received by his familiars was much less than what he would get if he killed them himself.

This is because the experience would be divided between him and his family, which explained why even after killing hundreds of monsters he had barely leveled up.

This in itself isn't bad, but it wouldn't really help his overall strength if he kept leveling up like that.

By a simple explanation of that mysterious voice, he could guess that the benefits of increasing the level will be less if he continued to trust his relatives to hunt for him.

It would be like a normal level increase would grant one stat point. But there were many other things that influenced the benefits you could get from leveling up.

To avoid being left behind, and obviously to increase his strength, he began his own hunting routine all by himself.

Of course, before that he had learned all about his attributes. At first his attributes had no abilities, but once he fought and managed to level him up to 10, he was able to access his attribute abilities.

From [Commander] I got [Desperate Strategy]. That allowed me to create a quick strategy to resolve the current situation, although the strategy would be based on my thoughts and intelligence, so whether the plan works or not will be based entirely on me.

Weapon Summon, allows me to summon a magical weapon of my choice. It was only bladed weapons that he could summon, so a pistol or a bow were impossible.

Minion Summon, allowed me to summon a kind of spiritual being to fight for me.

His form was that of a transparent humanoid, and he would carry a weapon of my choice, they are among the options: Swords, spears and Bows.

So there were no worries to fight and she could give it her all.

With all this preparation, it would only be a matter of time before my level and strength increased rapidly. Still, there were some things that worried me.

First was the Mission.

This was the one to kill some kind of intermediate rank. As far as I know, the mid-range monsters would be Orcs, and I didn't know if there were other species in the same range.

Apart from them, there would be the Ogres and Trolls. But these looked like high-ranking monsters, he wasn't sure, but neither was he going to risk it when he had an easier species to hunt.

The strength of the Orcs was not very high, at least, when they still had the [Wild] trait, but now that they had lost said trait, both their strength and intelligence had increased and with the gaining of their own status window, things would not be as easy as the first time.

Of course, if he used his familiars he could easily eliminate them, not because they were stronger than the Orc, but because they had abilities that made them very dangerous.

But unlike them, the only abilities I had came from my attributes, which did not offer any kind of direct damage. So he would have to prepare carefully to face them if he didn't want to die in the process.

Since he was not in a hurry to finish the mission, since in the first place he was not sure if it offered a reward upon completion or it was to increase some kind of ranking once the stage ends he would get an item, but what he knew was that his life was more important than any of that nonsense.

I readied his spear and waited for his magic power to recover.

That's one of the things I had found out about their attributes, unlike the [Stigma] that consumes Life Force, the attributes consumed a mysterious energy within our bodies that was recovered over time. This energy was called [Mana] and it could be used for numerous things.

Also every time it was activated, I felt how his body mobilized the mana by itself, so she slowly got used to the sensation and in time maybe she'll learn how to use mana.

For now, that would be left to his future self. Whereas the current one would concentrate only on leveling up and getting stronger. Maybe you can even get new attributes and abilities accordingly.
