Removing Evil Pieces

Gasper and Shirone looked at Izumi who was smiling towards them. Seeing his smile, Shirone and Gasper didn't what to say and just nodded at him.

Sizrechs and Serafall were looking at the door, where Rias had left. They were shocked by her behavior. They knew that Rias was disappointed but if she was disappointed in them, they would be able to bear it but hearing her, they knew that she was blaming herself.

They couldn't understand why this happened but one thing they knew was that it was Izumi's fault. Directly or indirectly, he had influenced her and broke her spirits. Even if it was unreasonable to think, they couldn't remove the thought from their mind.

The duo looked at Izumi, who was chatting with Amaterasu and Yasaka. Sizrechs was about to speak but Yasaka spoke first.

"Maou Sizrechs, can you remove Evil Pieces from Gasper and Shirone? We still are waiting for Lady Serafall to take us to Familiar Forest."

Sizrechs looked at Yasaka and seeing her nonchalant look, he didn't know what to say. Now he understood just how bad a leader's position can be for their family members. Even if he wanted to say something, Serafall would stop him as this was her matter to handle.

"I will do it. Sizrechs, you can then leave with Evil Pieces and look for Rias." Serafall said as she appeared at Shirone's side. Yasaka also appeared at her side and she was ready to take care of Shirone, in case something bad happened.

If it was some other devil, then it would be easier to exchange the piece but now Evil Piece had to be removed from her.

"I will remove but it would depend on your willpower." Serafall and she were about to start when Izumi came near her and stopped her.

"Wait! If you aren't sure, let me do it." Izumi said. Ciel had already scanned the pieces and now she was done with a method to extract a piece.

Two runes appeared in Izumi's hand. One of the runes was used to remove the Evil Piece while another rune would be used to remove her Devil characteristics.

"Let me do it. By the way, do you still want to have Devil characteristics to become a pure nekoshou?" Hearing him, Yasaka and Serafall had a shocked expression, while Amaterasu appeared at his side and looked at the runes. She mumbled something and a similar rune appeared in her hand which flew and mixed with the rune responsible for removing the Piece.

"Hmm! That's good. With this, she would have the same potential as before."

Amaterasu spoke with a smile while Izumi was looking at the rune with a curious face. His affinity with runes made his understand how Amaterasu's rune worked and most importantly, it contained her blessing.

"Hmm! So that's how you add a blessing in rune! I never thought of this idea. With this, I can build a more stable..."

"I want to keep my Devil characteristics, it is because that would be considered a gift from buchou," Shirone spoke as she looked at Izumi and Amaterasu. She could free warmth from one rune, while the other rune gave her a disgusted feeling.

Izumi nodded at her and removed the other rune, which gave a disgusting feeling to Shirone. She nodded and said, "I am ready."

The rune flew from Izumi's hand and appeared near Shirone's heart. It disappeared and appeared near the Rook Evile Piece in her heart and covered it. Then golden light appeared at the place, and it covered Shirone. For a few minutes, nothing new happened.

While this was happening, Izumi did the same with Gasper, but this time instead of a blessing from Amaterasu, he received Izumi's blessing. A red light appeared around him and covered him.

A few minutes later, both lights disappeared, and two Evil Pieces appeared in the place. Sizrechs walked towards them and held him.

"I am leaving. Take care of the guests, Serafall." He said and disappeared from the place. His mind was so focused on Rias that he forgot to ask how Izumi could remove the evil Piece. Serafall, who saw the runes now had a sacred and defeated expression.

She had been thinking of telling them the cons of removing the evil piece and that it could lead to death but now, her line of thinking shattered and now she had no other plan.

"How are you feeling any discomfort?" Izumi asked.

Gasper and Shirone were about to reply but then they suddenly became unconscious. He held them and then looked at their conditions and understood the reason for their collapse.

"It seems their soul is handling the pressure and balancing the change. They would wake up in an hour."

As Izumi explained, Yasaka sighed in relief. Amaterasu, who had already checked the condition nodded at him and then held the duo.

"I will take them to the Shinto faction. I have no interest in going to Familiar Faction. Lady Serafall, you can take Mr. Red and Yasaka to that place."

Amaterasu said and disappeared from the place without listening to others. Others might have not seen but Izumi saw the cruel smile she had on her face and wondered whom she is going to torture or who had gotten to her bad side.

Serafall looked at Yasaka. Seeing her puzzled expression, she understood that Yasaka didn't know why Amaterasu had left the place. She then looked at Izumi and seeing his calm face, she understood that he wasn't bothered about it.

"Let's go. I will take you two to the familiar forest and give you access to the location."

Serafall said and then a teleportation circle appeared at the place. It covered Yasaka, Izumi, and Serafall and the trio disappeared from the room.

What 'no one' noticed was that a shadow moved in the room and disappeared from the place.

Arriving in Familiar Forest, they were about to be greeted by Ash Ketch----Ahm.

As they appeared in Familiar Forest, they were greeted by Familiar Master.
