"Hey, what are you doing in bed?" Lin Dan who barged into Lin Huiying's room questioned her.
"What does it look like?" Lin Huiying lazily asked in return. It was late morning and she was rolling around in her bed.
"You gave us quite a surprise yesterday with your martial arts." Lin Jiang who followed behind his brother commented.
"Well! Thanks for the compliment. But aside from that, I have no energy left to discuss my martial arts today." Lin Huiying quickly turned her back to them.
"Don't tell me you're just planning to sleep in today." Lin Dan approached her bed and sat on it. He didn't stop at that and started shaking the shoulders of his unresponsive sister.
"Mannnnn!!!!!!! Stop!!! What do you want?" Lin Huiying finally asked him after getting annoyed with all that vigorous shaking which showed no sign of stopping till she turned her body to face them.
"We are going to meet the Zhou trio today. Brother Fengmian met brother Meng today at the palace after his court meeting and they decided to meet today for lunch with his siblings. So, we have come to wake you, or should I say drag you out of this bed? Anyways, get up and get ready we're heading out in half n hour." Lin Jiang explained the reason behind their visit today.
At the mention of meeting the trio, Lin Huiying rubbed of the tired look from her face and extended her hand towards Lin Dan who was sitting beside her.
Her brother smirked and extended his hand to pull her up.
"I almost thought I would have to use some of my powers to drag you out of the bed. Well, looks like the first and the hard step is done. So, let's move on to the next one." Lin Jiang who was standing next to her bed extended his hand to assist/drag his sister out of the bed.
"Huh! You make it sound as if I never get out of my bed, and you two must sacrifice your time and energy to get me out of it. I am a pretty energetic person, and I don't even sleep too much, all right?" Lin Huiying said in her defense while wearing her boots while Lin Jiang still holding her one hand like a gentleman to support her.
She couldn't help but ask, "BTW, what is the second part?"
"The second step is the get you ready. You have to be presentable that people fail to recognize you from the Lin family." Lin Dan stood up from her bed and pushed her back in the direction of her wardrobe.
"Hey!!!!!!! Are you saying that I look shabby? Or that I am not beautiful enough?" She exaggerated with her hands to which Lin Jiang couldn't help but laugh.
She added, "If I am not beautiful and presentable, then have you looked in the mirror?"
At this point, Lin Dan stopped pushing her back and stood at one place with his arms folded and stared at his sister.
Suddenly silence filled the room, so Lin Huiying turned around to looked at her brothers who were looking at her with raised eyebrows and questioning looks while subtly giving poses.
"What do YOU think?" Lin Dan asked her.
She looked at both from head to toe and Oh-man both looked handsome! Well-dressed, good physic, and handsome face.
Then she looked down at herself – she was in her simplest clothes. And c'mon who would wear nice clothes or layers of clothes when they are at their own house? She was exactly the type of person to be in pajamas all day long whenever she was at home.
"Don't look at me like that, ok? I am at my house and MY courtyard. Why would I dress up?" Lin Huiying asked them with her mouth hanging open at the end as if to emphasize the confusion.
Lin Dan couldn't stand her, so he bit his lower lip (the whole not the seductive-half-one) to EMPHASIS his annoyance, "Just get going before I kick you in there."
Lin Jiang could only shake his head. After a while, the young Lin trio left the house for their destination.
Except for Lin Jiang who looked leisurely, the other two were lagging. When he entered the restaurant, he looked around for his group and he soon spot them. Zhou Shen, Lin Fengmian, and Zhou Meng were discussing something while Zhou Dongyu was laughing about some joke Lin Biao cracked.
He swiftly reached their table and took an empty seat next to Zhou Meng.
They looked at him and then looked from left to right.
"No need to look for those two. They are coming." Lin Jiang explained before anyone could question him.
"Behind? Why are they lagging?" Lin Biao asked his brother.
"Don't get me started. I thought I was dragging two 10-year-old kids with me." Lin Jiang replied with little annoyance.
